Woo Hoo! I just won a raffle at work, I got a pair of tickets to a baseball game. The Charlotte Knights are our minor leauge team... I got box seats, 5 rows from the field... And the ticket is for the weekend Jada is coming to visit. I hope she likes baseball...

Ooh, swank new position Jada! Detroit's rather unofficialized the historian/secretary positions, otherwise I'd probably be there instead of book club. The history major being the group's historian.

And yes I voted! It's not a difficult choice like Aragorn or Obi-Wan, it's frickin' Budweiser or a decent beer. Hence I chose the decent beer, although both do not hold candles to real beer.

 

Well, I'm hoping that before I leave Arizona to get a book club in place. Right now we are trying to get an RPG going. Yea, just what I need, more "stuff" Actually, I'd love to do a one day RPG to get my feet wet so to speak. nemisis says I am a good RPer although I am a moose rack hanging god modder at heart.

Well, as beers are generally the one area where I am admittedly un-American, unless we're talking a good Sam Adams, I have to vote Heineken.

White Elephant is technically, I believe, considered a Malt. But it's a very dark, stout brew. Think Guinness... only with syrup added and more alcohol content.

Sorry, I tried to find something good on the web for it, but couldn't. I did, however, find a home recipe for it under a homebrew site...

You should have seen the waitress one night when I took my friends to Thunder Canyon Brewery. I ordered Bees and Berries, she ordered another seasonal brew and he order MGD. The waitress looked at him like he had the plague.
