My favorite character is Homer.
I don't really have a favorite episode, but I like the things Homer says.

In the episode where Frank Grimes Jr. is trying to kill Homer:
Sideshow Bob - How can one man have so many enemies?!?!
Homer - I'm a people-person.......who drinks.

 

I don't know the name of this episode but its when Resse Witherspoon does the voice of some rich girl who falls for Bart. Then Bart goes to canadian to try n win her back. But when I really think about it every simpsons episode is my favorite even the comic books are awesome I just love them all

 

Another good episode Was Homer becoming as assistant for Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger.
Ron Howard was excellent in both of his guest spots.

 

I like Barnie in the Pink Shirt. "Heh Moe can you give me a free Bear?" Bruuup. I lkie the one Episode where Barnie and Hormer where at the Duff Company.

Hears my favorite Song from Homer in another Episode. "Simpson, Hormer Simpson, hes the Greatist guy in History. Form the Town of Springfeild he about to hit a Cheast Nut Tree. Ahhraa. Duh."

Soo far the New Episode are Just as good as the old ones. The 300 one has a really good one. I also like the One Episode where Hormer keeps Scearming about a dead body when he was 12.

 

Favorite Characters Kang and Kodos
Favorite episode Halloween 8 I believe. Maggie grows a fang and tentacles on her 2nd birthday and we find out how Marge was impregnated. Then they go to Jerry Springer to sort it out and Kang and Kodos Vaporize the audience. That was funny.

 

Favorite Character: Dr. Hibburt, Homer.

I love the one with Mel Gibson:

"You want to replace the villian with a DOG?!"

"Yeah you just need a close-up of him like this: (moves eyes around) the people will suspect the dog"

And when the go to brazil and Homer is wearing the shirt with Uncle Sam eating the wold saying: Try And Stop Us!

 

Favorite characters:Kang and Kodos,Homer.

I also really like the Mel Gibson episode.I love the part where he and Homer make a different ending for his movie.


Mel Gibson(with rifle):All in favor,say die!Woo woo woo woo woo(wipes head like curly).
Then he starts shooting everyone and the judge is banging down his gavel and then Mel throws the fire extinguisher under it.Then the extinguisher explodes.


The Brazil episode was pretty funny,like when Lisa and Marge go to that somba school:

Brazilian guy:This dance makes sex look like a church!
Marge:I don't think my daughter should be hearing this.
Brazilian guy:You can't protect her forever!You stupid lady!

Oh,and when they give the kidnappers their money:
Kidnapper 1:Look at all that pink and purple!
Kidnapper 2ur money sure is gay.

 

My favorite characters are Lisa, Snake, Cletus, and Disco Stu, by far.

I used to be the biggest Simpson freak on the planet, but the last few seasons have really gone downhill, so I've stoped watching the new episodes. The old ones are still classics, though.

It's really hard to pick a favorite episode, as there are so many great moments. Off the top of my head though, I'd say probably Summer of 4'2, Lisa's Wedding, Lisa's Substitute, Homer vs. New York, Homer Badman, Homer's Phobia, You Only Move Twice, King-Sized Homer, and Who Shot Mr Burns? (both parts, mind you!)

 

I love all of the Halloween episodes.

KANG: (Or Kodos) They left us out of the Holloween episode! (Phone rings) Do we want to do a commercial for something called "Old Navy"?

And the thing with the three bears.

BART: (Sticks finger in porridge) Ah! Too hot! (Sticks finger in another bowl) Yuck! Too cold! Well, this doesen't take a genius (Mixes two bowls)

Homer(with monkey paw):Alright,I'll make a wish that can't backfire.I wish for a turkey sandwich,on white bread,with pickles,lettuce,tomatoes,mustard,and and I don't want any zombie turkeys,I don't want to have to turn into a turkey myself,and I don't any other weird surprises you got that!

Homer and Bart

The episode where Homer is teaching a marriage guidance class at college and the class are observing a family dinner.

Homer: What did you do today Bart?

Bart: Me and Milhouse(SP) threw some mail down a drain.

Homer: Why you little.........

Remembers class are watching

Homer: Now that wasn't the right thing to do.

Bart: What the hell are you talking about, you double dared us!

 

Did anyone see this new episode where they badmouthed the PT. It went kind of like this:
Lenny and Carl are at the Nuclear Power Plant fighting with radioactive rods (or something like that) like they're lightsabres.

Lenny: "I say Phamtom Menace sucked more!"

Carl: "I say Attack of the Clones sucked more!"

I love the Simpsons too but I was shocked to hear this. I had no idea the writers were so anti-PT.

 

Lenny and Carl are ***** anyway, what would they know!

I'm so glad I've found a thread like this, and it makes me laugh looking back over everyones favourite moments - sheer class

My favorite characters are Homer (of course) and Chief Wiggum (so incompetant, yet so funny)

Fave character is Homer and one of my favourite episodes is a short from a halloween special where he makes a time machine out of a toaster, and continually changes the past.

As well as the one where he finds that he is a fishy lightbulb head from Japan.

I'm not sure if I can pick just one favorite Simpsons episode, the moments that stick out in my mind right now are when in the 250th(?) episode spectacular when they showed the alternate versions to "Who shot shot Mr. Burns". Did anyone else think the noise Mr. Burns made every time he was shot was freaking hilarious! And remember when Mr. Burns tried to escape the Nuclear Power Plant in an escape pod! And Smithers is trying to get in.

Smithers: "For the love of God sir, there are two seats!"

Mr.Burns: "I like to put my feet up."


You've also gotta love all the Star Wars references and imitations!

It was a funny episode and the above line was right on the money

 

Fav Characters: Homer and Ralph
Fav show: I think when Lisa pretends she is a college student. A scene Ralph had with Lisa was just the best. Ralph stated no one liked him and then wet his pants. OMG that was funny

 

I love Ned. Hes so funny. Like when Lisa is a Buddhist:

LISA: I'm a Buddhist!!

NED: My Satan sense is tingling

Also love Homer and Comic Book Guy

STAN LEE: Hey, weren't you that guy that was stalking Linda Carter?

COMIC BOOK GUY: I belive the term is courting

 

Why does Homer's family seem to like Lenny so much?


Example:
Marge:Kids,I'm afraid I have some terrible news about Lenny.

Kids:Not Lenny!!

 

I think my favorite charactersare Homer and Mr. Burns! They have more funny moments than anyone else on the show.

 

I've been watching the show since the very beginning, so I'm sad to say I no longer look forward to the new episodes anymore. As others have said, the last several seasons have been real stinkers. The most recent season alone has three episodes I'll absolutely never watch again because I detested them so much. I found the prequel bashing ironic, given how much the show itself has been sliding.

The best episodes are found in seasons three through seven. Not a bad episode in the bunch, and I never get tired of them. Anyway...

I think they like Lenny so much cuz Marge had an affair with him and the kids liked him better than Homer
