Some good stuff in there, anyone excited about Twin Snakes should read it.

I'm intrigued by the fact that he said TS has many hidden features. Here's to hoping for a "Grey Fox Mode".

 

Yeah, some VR elements would be nice.

 

I say they should remake the VR missions game. that was a good game but it would be better with the new gameplay

And glad to hear TS has hidden features because I dont want to just play through it and have everything mastered the first day. And a grey Fox mode would be awesome

I've got to wait for another month (or rather, just less than) before I get it.

Just got the game and man, it looks, sounds and plays beautiful.

Who else got this today?

 

I got it earlier... I like it a lot, I think it's a great remake, but the voice acting - especially from Mei Ling and Naomi (my favorite character) seem a bit awkward. *shrug* Otherwise it's fantastic.

 

I have to wait until the 26th before I can pick up a copy.

 

Yeah, I noticed that too. Weird, cause it's the same voice actors returning.

My only peeve is that I wish it was a really awsome package like Substance was. Beside the remake and obvious unlockables, I would have loved the VR missions, especially since there was an expansion for MGS which was just all VR missions.

Those are fun time wasters.

 

Can someone tell me all the features and extras please?

Well, you can unlock extra difficulty modes, costumes, character skins, theater, dog tag collection like in MGS2, boss survival mode, camera.

That's what I know of for right now. There's some other stuff that came already in the features section from the get go, like the briefing room and the photo album (can't do anything without the camera anyway, so it's moot)

There is a tux and an alternate stealth outfit for Snake.

You can also unlock Ninja as well as other goodies.

Forgot too add, but you can also unlock extras depending if you beat the game with Octacon's or Meryl's ending (one extra a piece)

 

Let me guess, Bandanna and Stealth Gear. How original.

 

Nah, you can get the bandana.

But you can unlock for costumes:

tux, stealth, Octocon, Meryl

Plus, Octocon and Meryl demos, which you can, I believe, are the character skins.

 

You can also unlock Ninja as well as other goodies.



Where did you hear this? And if it's true, is it just a skin? It's just that I've not heard anything about the Ninja being in TTS (in playable form).

 

I don't know if it's a skin or the character. No idea.

It's what it says in the start guide I flipped through.

I hope it's the character. That would rock. But I have a feeling it might just be a skin.
