Well, the run-down on my exams is pretty simple, from what I think anyway ...

Passed Biology. I studied, so I guess I can make the grade.

Aced Physics (I have the best tutor in the world, he gave us practice papers that turned out to have half the questions on the one my school teacher set for the exam).

Flunked Chemistry. Probably spectacularly, since I had to make up a couple of compound names from a mix of prefixes and suffixes.

Practice papers are so much help and having someone who's good at predicting upcoming topics is a big bonus!

Aaah, don't worry about the Chemistry...I know what you mean. I was good at Chem, but all those equations. I used to balance them in my sleep and recite periodic tables too-my mum remembers... And so do I, infact.

Can you take this exam again? Is this like O'Levels or A'Levels Xan?

I've already started uni last week was the induction week/freshers week. Although the freshers parties didn't start they start this week and last for 2 weeks which is very confusing lol.

But Monday I start my first lectures [face_shocked]

 

Well, I guess freshers week is gonna be fun...well, 2 whole weeks of fun!

Well, it's sort of like the O levels, I guess. The exam I'm gonna take in November's the SPM, which is basically the local equivalent. The one I'm taking now is the SPM trial, which is basically so they can estimate how well you'll do in the real thing. It's run by the school but they send your results to the education ministry as your forecast results which you use to get into college because the SPM results aren't released until April.

So I guess in a way I'm gonna be re-sitting it in November.

When I was in school we used to have a mock exam before the main O'Level or A'Levels.

Nowadays they do an "Ace level" exam before to guage the students...I think that's the equivalent of what you're doing.

I didn't have that. So, it may be good coz it will help you focus on the areas you need more work on.

Aaahh November exams? I have CIMA exams in November too...

My exam is in January, but thats because most of my course is project based which is better for me

Don't get me started on multitasking ... I learnt the hard way that roleplaying, keeping up with several threads and holding 2 IM conversations simultaneously is never a good idea.
