To get our minds off serious stuff like lawsuits -- just a place to chat. Have at it, kids.
Wooo! Fresh thread smell!
*deep sniff* Is that pine? Or lilac?
More like cassis, fig and orange blossom -- which is an actual hand lotion I have. Quite nice, actually .
Anybody here a Star Wars fan?
Waaaaa --- you mean this isn't a "Star Trek is Forever" board?
LOL - Capt. Kirk has a tattoo on his arm that says "Mom".
Hi Justin, Sorry, yes, I'm a classic films SW fan and attended CIV. I like Star Trek too, though I don't have any tattoos, "Mom" or other...
Yep, I likes me some Star Wars. I've actually been around in SW Fandom forever, LOL! New to here, though!
Just thought I'd tiptoe in, say a quiet hello to everyone and enjoy a bit of that new thread smell.
Tiptoeing is not allowed -- you must stomp in and crash all the furniture .
Happy morning, everyone! I'm listening to Bob Dylan and enjoying a sunny morning in SoCal.
My apologies! I didn't understand the protocol. Next time I shall be much louder!
Hope you're enjoying your Sunday morning with Dylan!
I will -- I think the CD player has Billy Joel up next . I could go on like this all day <vbg>.
Hi all! It is a gorgeous day, isn't it...too bad I have to spend the entire day sewing (I volunteered to help w/wardrobe on a film: d'oh!). But here I'm taking a break and checking online and YAY! You reminded me to put on some music! LOL, I was sitting there sewing in silence. Except for the cooing of my local doves, that is! Well, back to work...
I found Star Wars: Empire of Dreams on A&E. It's from 2004, but I haven't seen it before so it's interesting. Think I need to turn it off so I can get some work done, though. Music is probably a better idea.
Has anybody here been to or planning to attend SW Where Science Meets Imagination in Philly?
My wife and I are scheduled to attend the event on March 29th.
We all went to the exhibit when it was at the California Science Center in L.A. Was way worth it.
I can't wait to see the exhibit. It was here in the NY area about 5 years ago, but on a much smaller scale.
And I cannot wait to jump on the Millenium Falcon Experience ride!
New thread, great! How is everyone?
I'm fine, just getting ready for Monday.
Can one ever truly be ready for a Monday?
No, that's why I'm just getting ready for it .
Man, I guess it's been a good day when the worst one can complain about is a paper cut. But I can barely type
See? That was not intentional/! Neither was that! Okay, I actually did some correcting and it still looks bad
Have a great Monday, Y'all!
Hello all! It's nice to see such a happy bunch of people on a Monday.
It's easy to be happy on a Monday when the sky is blue, the weather is in the 70s and the boss is out of the office. I took a stroll at lunch and am now back listening to my co-workers' iTunes lists. Oh, and I can type '11.' Life is good.
