My wish to Santa is that we have a C-V announcement in the first quarter of 2009 -- and it's announced for Indianapolis. I'm so there! I'd be happy to turn the reins back again to those guys in Indy....

Looking forward to chatting with many of you for a few months to come on this board. It's been a great ride and a whole lot 'o fun interacting with everyone (even you, Grumpy! )

And since it's that time of the year -- if you're traveling at this holiday time, be safe; my best wishes to you and yours for a merry holiday season and a happy and healthy New Year!

And with the demolition of the old RCA Dome in Indianapolis, hopefully our C5 wish is a little closer to becoming a reality.

 

Well, it's that time again -- when we kick out the old and bring on the new.... Prospects for 2009 are looking kinda dim, but all I can hope for is a level playing field for me and those I know. The rest I can deal with.

Best wishes to all my SW peeps for a healthy and happy 2009! And never forget, when all else fails -- we can always talk about Star Wars . That always brings a smile to my face!

Wow, it's been a while since I posted in here. Just not a whole lot going on, what can I say.

Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" to everyone and -- GO CARDINALS!!!!!

It's also now official that Mark is part of the "first gen fan" crew - he LOVED the picture and Laughed so hard!

Oh, just working, visiting with Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher at WonderCon, waiting on "the announcement" and making plans for Comic-Con. That's about it .

Dare I bring this up on a Star Wars board? Dare I risk the request of my Star Wars fan club badge? LOL! I don't care!!! GO SEE STAR TREK! That movie was freaking awesome!! Seriously.. one of the best movies I've seen in a LONG time.

 

I absolutely agree, Grumpy. I had been skeptic for a long time, but that faded as people started saying all these good things about it.
I went to see it today and I loved it. It had some flaws, but overall it was great. I would have seen it either way though as I also like Star Trek. However I only buy merchandise from Star Wars.
Personally I think the war between Wars and Trek is for those with no brain and nothing better to do in their life, and they need to grow up - poor things.

 

What is this Star Trek thing you speak of?

Seriously, I hear it's a really good movie. Glad to see that -- nothing wrong with keeping franchises alive....

It's ok to like star trek, as long as you recognize that Star Wars is better.

 

Of course.... to me there is Star Wars.... then all the other movies (including Star Trek). I'm just saying it was one hell of a movie.

 

My first love is Star Wars...of course.

However, I would be lying to everyone if I did not admit that I am also a Trekkie. But, in my defense I should say that Shatner in is younger years was yumm-o...lol. Nuff said!

 

from what i hear they put r2 in the new star trek movie so we can love the movie with the star wars and star trek war. lol on the other note CV better be announced soon. I am going nuts
