Hello and welcome to the fourth Star Wars character contest! I'm your host, Jordan1Kenobi. This time we'll be voting to decide who the JCF think is the greatest Star Wars hero and villain of all time. The two winners will then go up against each other to see who the overall winner is. The characters will be based on canon material.

Previous contests

1. Canon characters - First place: Obi-Wan Kenobi / Second place: Leia Organa / Third place: Darth Vader / Fourth place: Ahsoka Tano.
2. Jedi - First place: Obi-Wan Kenobi / Second place: Ahsoka Tano / Third place: Anakin Skywalker / Fourth place: Yoda.
3. Rebels characters - Currently in progress.

How to play

As the players, all you have to do is vote for your favourite character out of the two that go up against each other in each match.

There will be four matches a day (two hero matches and two villain matches), until it reaches the final rounds. The characters will be chosen at random using a random number generator, so anything could happen. The winner from each match will move onto the next round.

If there's a tie in rounds one and two, the winner will go to who I voted for to keep things moving. If there's a tie in rounds three to seven, we'll wait until someone else votes before moving on.

Rounds

Round 1: 120 characters (60 heroes and 60 villains)
Round 2: 60 characters (30 heroes and 30 villains)
Wildcard round: 2 characters (1 hero and 1 villain) will be chosen to re-enter the contest
Round 3: 32 characters (16 heroes and 16 villains)
Round 4: 16 characters (8 heroes and 8 villains)
Round 5 (Quarter-finals): 8 characters (4 heroes and 4 villains)
Round 6 (Semi-finals): 4 characters (2 heroes and 2 villains)
Round 7 (Final): 2 characters (1 hero and 1 villain)

Rules

1. Remember to vote for your favourite character, not the one who you think would win in a fight.
2. Don't use multiple/sock accounts to vote. Sock accounts are easy to discover.
3. No spoilers for recently released material when discussing the characters.
4. Only vote for the characters based on the specified material. E.g. If the contest states it's using canon characters, only judge them based on canon material and not the expanded universe material.
5. Only the host can update the scores and post new matches.
6. Have fun!
