Hello and welcome to the 8th Star Wars popularity contest! I'm your host, Jordan1Kenobi. This time we'll be voting to decide who the JCF think is the greatest Star Wars original trilogy character of all time.

How to play

As the players, all you have to do is vote for your favourite character out of the two that go up against each other every match. Each match is usually posted every 24 hours.

The characters will be chosen at random using a random number generator, so anything could happen. The winner from each match will move onto the next round.

If there's a tie in rounds one and two, the winner will go to who I voted for to keep things moving. If there's a tie in the other rounds, we'll extend the voting by another day.

Rounds

Round 1: 100 characters
Round 2: 50 characters
Wildcard round 1: 3 characters will be chosen by the players to re-enter the contest
Round 3: 28 characters
Round 4: 14 characters
Wildcard round 2: 1 character will be chosen by the players to re-enter the contest
Round 5 (Quarter-finals): 8 characters
Round 6 (Semi-finals): 4 characters
Round 7 (Final): 2 characters

Rules

1. Remember to vote for your favourite character, not the one who you think would win in a fight.
2. Don't use multiple/sock accounts to vote. Sock accounts are easy to discover.
3. Only vote for the characters based on the specified material. If the contest states it's using original trilogy characters, only judge them based on their appearance in those three films and not anything else.
4. Only the host can update the scores and post new matches.
5. Have fun!
