I made a quick, albeit sloppy, video of what goes through our heads when we see this iconic scene from Return of the Jedi. I got a laugh out of it, I hope you do, too!

 

It's beautiful at the same time as horrifying (note: not mine)

Was going to post in the Music section, but it seemed like it was official music score only.



Anyways, a lot of my friends around the country throw down on this project and I made the video.
We make monthly beat cyphers with different themes, but this last month was Star Wars because we were all hyped for Rogue One to come out.

I hope you like the humore in my video and dont take everything to serious I also love the Prequel's.

I just had an idea, to integrate the video more i could make it look as if it is being projected or is on some kind of screen! What do you think?

 

I'm wondering what is the point of the video, I mean, except making fun. If you want such feedback (for the fun) there are too may enthusiasts in Youtube who live only for making fun of PT and in the last years the PT fans have several reasons for not being happy about that.
I know it would be banned by Youtube if the scenes of the real movie become bigger, still, they are invisible whe they are in the center of the image.

 

Hm, seems more like something that belongs in the SW YT thread, but the bit. thingy can be a bit unsettling for some

Before I move it there, nemtraC, would you mind embedding the video by pasting the url into the box that pops up when you click the icon that looks like a film reel?

 

Tonyg I'm a big fan of the Prequel movies, i would not put 20h of work in a video just to make fun I tried to recreate the hologram effect and in a satirical way look how would the Emperor react to the Prequels if he was a grumpy old man who does not like enithing note just the movie (that's the way i wrote the character).

About the Copyright, the use of the trailer falls under Fair use in tis case, If an artist adds value (I know you would probably argue about the added value but thats in the eye of the observer taste is a difficult thing to measure), transforms the peace, a review,....
As for the feedback i tought about the effects, how did you like them, how would i better recreate them,...

Seagoat I didn't think the video would add "gasoline to the fire" of the debate if the Prequel movies are bad or not, like i wrote in my first post "I hope you like the humore in my video and dont take everything to serious I also love the Prequel's." but it was somehow missed

 

I see. The hologram is very good indeed but you are too young and positively looking to recreate the Emperor If you talk more grumpy... But I really think you have to move the “part“ with the movie away of the hologram because it shadows it. And add more comment so the “grumpiness“ could be noticed easily.

 

I thought about fading the corners of the movie and make it look like it's being projected, or put it on a monitor. Thx for your compliment yes im 35 and i thought about it, i would be a better jedi but i like the dark side . I will try to add more grumpy's to the Revenge of the Sith, but it's hard because i like it the most out of the Prequels
