Yeah, I really have no life at all other than SW, crafting and my kids. Help me!

My sister is doing okay and she is home on bedrest and the babies (twin girls) seem to be doing fine. Thanks for the kind words, prayers, thoughts, etc.

Been out for a while - real life has been conspiring against me. When it rains, it POURS!!

Since July started someone hit my TrailBlazer (hit and run - no note, almost a $1,000 in damage), the Mrs. ended up with blood clots from some medicine she was taking and spent a week and half in the hospital, Max was sick at the same time the Mrs. was in the hospital (roughest week of my life I think) and I lost my grandfather (great man, great story teller).

After saying I would be trying to post more - this series of events transpired.

Sometime life is a big **** sandwich and you have to take a bite!!

Good news is my truck is fixed, the family is back to healthy status, and my Papa is no longer in any pain.

Positive thoughts (prayers, karma, whatever you choose to call them) do work. So I'm sending them in all your guys directions for the various reasons you listed here and other threads.

Keep your chins up. Things will, and always do, get better.

 

Oh I hate it when life takes those sucky turns. Unfortunately we all have to endure them. Hang in there and prayers for you all.

My deepest sympathies on the loss of your grandfather, Tim.

 

Looks like everyone's getting a big bite of that sammich there.

So I branded myself a SW geek today. I got the rebel symbol tattooed on my ankle today. Yay! I will post a pic once it heals up.

 

Oh Tim, I am sorry about your papa... and it sounds like you had a rough month or so. I am glad things are getting better.

 

If I ever get my tattoo, perhaps I should work in some SW iconography as well....

 

Finished reading Harry Potter yesterday. Very Very good read, although I could have done without her saying "effing" three times in the book. Really not appropriate for a kids book.
Now I can get back to life again and finish up on my star wars costume.
