I've been finishing off the ascendancy trilogy ad am just in the final stretch of lesser evil. What they've done to Tharwn's charcter has been spectacular.

The fact that he has a past trauma, with a sister who went missing when he was an extremely young child and a best friend who went down in lesser space for the ascendancy is incredible. I adored his and Thrass's relationship from the start. There's so much more in these books so i'll probably have more thoughts soon.
