I'm getting married in about 14 months, and my girlfriend has always known that my #1 stipulation about the wedding is that The Throne Room be played as we walk down the isle together.
What does anyone think about that??
Is there any other SW music you'd use in a wedding??
I know the idea of the Throne Room is nothing new, but I've always thought it'd be cool, because it'd throw the audience off, because the first few measures sound like some of the more traditional fare.

If your girlfriend was truly a SW fan, she would want to have the Imperial March for the processional. :)

Personally, *I'd* rather have the Throne Room. It's so much more grand and just... HAPPY! :D

Sithy... Ken was suggesting the Imperial March for the PROcessional. That means when everyone is walking DOWN the aisle. The REcessional, which Col Tweek wants the Throne Room, is when everyone is walking out at the end of the ceremony. So what Ken is saying is they should have Star Wars for BOTH... :D

The image of the bride coming down the aisle to the Imperial March just cracks me up. [face_laugh]

Ahh, I see, thanks for the explanation, Timo. :)

Still, the Imperial March seems so... Un-happy. :p

I'm having the same piece at my wedding next April. I'm hoping to have a brass group playing, and am arranging the piece myself for organ and brass. It's a fantastic piece. Good choice!

I always thought that should be reserved for the mother of the bride?

If he wants to then he will use it; but personally I would use the Throne Room!
