TV Discussion The timeline of SW tv shows

With the new additions things are going to get very complicated very soon, so perhaps a thread were we clear all our doubts on "what happens when" will turn out to be useful.

What I have so far is

- (Jabba's death)
- Boba exits the sarlacc and lives with the Tuskens (flashbath)
- Mandalorian season 1 episodes 1-5
- Boba saves Fennec and they go to take back the ship in (BOBF ep4, still flashbath)
- Mandalorian season 1 episode 6-8
- Mandalorian season 2 complete
- BOBF Boba takes on Bib (flashbath)
- BOBF (present days)

 

Do we need the Mando flashbacks in this too? And flashbacks from TBOBF 5? Or is that too detailed?

 

No it's actually a great idea.
Later if we feel confident about how the job is coming out we can also add the cartoons.

 

I wonder how the Rebels ending figures into all of this. Maybe it'll be the start of the Ahsoka spinoff.

 

Post all the Mandalorian shows except for Mandalorian season 3, We might see from Ahsoka's viewpoint as she picks up Sabine at Lothal.

 

The Night of a Thousand Tears (Most likley post ANH but pre-ESB)

Young Din Djarin Flashbacks, (Around later seasons of Clone Wars post season 5. Between seasons 6-7.)

Since it related to the Mandalorian in a way, (Liberation of Lothal months before Rogue One.)

Bad Batch season 1 finale ends 6-8 months post ROTS. With season 2 litte time jump

 

If we take Filoni's words into context soon after Liberation of Lothal, Rogue One/ANH events happens and it's why Palpatine dosne't bother with Lothal as he has no needs for the planet anymore, also i think it was on list of planets the death star would visit. In Rebels finale Ezra is 19 years old, just as old as Luke in ANH. Maul vs Kenobi happens 18 months before ANH, and each season covers more or less a year. So lets say between 3-4 months.

I wonder would the Ahsoka show start after events of BOBF or during it as she got her information and might just head off to Sabine and they away during BOBF and Mandalorian season 3 or return in it's last episodes and we see Din meet up with Ahsoka and Sabine.

As the one that coined the phrase "flashbath" I disagree! Flashbath rolls off the tongue better than flashbacta.

Oh and don't forget AOTC needs to be in the timeline (not just the flashbath/flashbacta from TBOBF).

 

The Kamino flashback (Boba watching Jango leave) should obvs take place prior to AOTC.

 

It would also be nice if a mod updated the OP from time to time; not need to do it often, just every now and then.

You mean the Rebels epilogue. Do you think they'd actually show a live action version of it; albeit part of a longer scene?

The writers had the mercy of writing the date in which the events take place in Andor. God bless them.
So where are the main plot and the flashback located in the timeline?

 

Flashback is two years before Attack of the Clones. And main story is 5 years before Rogue One.

 

OWK takes place almost a decade after the fall of Kamino, but besides that, a solid list
