If Man U get away with a draw, they should count themselves VERY lucky

Oh, and please play like this on Saturday ;)

Well, they should've scored the penalty.

I do wonder if it was part of Fergie's strategy to get a draw so he could win at Old Trafford. But the formation was very odd.
Play O'Shea right back, Put Ronaldo on the wing not in the hole. Small changes in the same formation would work better.

And they won't play like that on Saturday, their formation in the league is different plus Vidic will be back.

It wasn't just the formation, his substitutions were bizarre. He took off Rooney and Tevez as they were ineffectual. But it was the rest of the team not getting the ball to them that were the problem. They didn't play bad. They never got the ball. So don't bring on Nani and Giggs!

We defended well, and given Barca's recent form we should've blown them away.
Hopefully we'll play normal style next week.

Home advantage will be very important, as will having Vidic back in the team.

Vidic is doubtful for the weekend (or that may just be the usual mindgame nonsense)

Aye, a stomach virus apparently. I'm pretty much prepared for him to miss the match at Stamford Bridge, but the home tie against Barcelona will hopefully see him return.

As long as they don't play Hargreaves at right-back again it should be Ok, O'Shea will do fine.

Brown should remain at right-back and Pique should go in the centre. I don't see why Ferguson didn't think of doing that last night.

Brown has more experience, beside the centre partnership worked fine, it was the lack of penetration & crossing given by the full backs, one of which shouldn't really have played there.

Experienced players for big games, Pique has time to learn in lesser matches.

Pique is experienced playing both for and against Barcelona. In fact, he's played against Barcelona more times than Wes Brown has :p

was sorry to hear about Frank Lampards mums death. I'm sure it means he won't be playing against united. I hope he's back soon and wish him all the best at this difficult time

It was great to see the tribute to Pat Lampard after the first goal =D=

Great result for Chelsea today. Makes the last 2 games so much more exciting. Any points dropped is effectively the end of the title.

But more important that that.......Lincoln winning, and Grimsby losing!!!!!!

United are endangering their title prospects, this is bad.
They are more likely to win the league then win in Europe, yet they played as though Europe was more important.

They'll end up with no trophies at this rate, which given their efforts this season is not what they deserve.

too right it should of been a full strengh side today and nothing but a win in mind. If we had won today then that would of taken the presure off the league and aloud us to concentrate on barca midweek. Now we have to worry about geting past barca and then winning at the wknd not the best choices from a normally impecable fergie

We could've ignored the league if we'd won today, 'cos we would've been champs even if we lost the last two games.

But since Chelsea have tougher remaining fixtures, United could be champs next week if they win but Chelsea only draw.

It's two wins out of two needed for both sides.

Nope. If you win and we draw, you'll be 2 points ahead with a game left each. You'd still need to draw against Wigan

    Oh yeah

I keep thinking that the goal difference counts as a proper extra point, but it only works when on level points.
