As I said, we talked about this earlier. It means nothing. Just another rebellion on Cameron's centrist rather than Right-wing policies.

Well, for better or worse, he's gone.

Let's just hope Brown doesn't lead the country to ruin in the time he is in charge.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Already posted on the BBC forums of what I expect from him.

Things are already looking up - Sky News is reporting that Patricia Hewitt has resigned 'for personal reasons'. If I never hear her voice as a government minister again it will be a good thing. Maybe we can make a clean sweep with Jowell and Harmon? (And no, I am not biased against women - they just all seem to have attended the same seminars on how to be patronizing and totally useless).

It was probably chaired by Virginia Bottomley (for those who remember back that far).

Can we get rid of Ruth Kelly as well? I remember her as being particularly useless...

    EDIT:

WTH?! Is he insane and completely stupid?
    1. If there were an immediate General Election then the Tories would lose. No policies and a party that's had recent internal conflict doesn't make for an electable party.
    2. You vote for the Party, not the man. Idiot.

I'd be willing to toss Ruth Kelly in as well. She's not quite that patronizing but she is useless.

I can see Dave's point though - how many people would have voted Labour if it was Brown leading at the time and not Blair?
