Ark The Toy Box and Collector's Corner Version 2.0

Well, the old toy/collector is down in the depths of dead threads so I figured it was time for Version 2.0

The question I've got for this week is weren't the McQuarie figures supposed to be limited, particularly the ones from Comic Con and Celebration... and now they're repackaged in collector sets???

What's up with this? Why did we all drive around like crazies to get the other ones... Oh yeah... So we could fill up the coin books... Riiiiggghhhttt...

Anyway, if you're looking for something particular and want to get some help from your friends to find it... well, post it here and maybe somebody will find it in Toys R Us or Wally World and let you know they see it...

Or if you're in one of the above mentioned stores and see they just put out something new and cool... In today's age of cellular internet... well, pop in here and slap a post up.

We've all go secret collector's inside of us (some not as secret as others) so, Lets help each other out...

Can we name this thread in honor of the old one? Maybe a hybrid: The Toy Box: Collector's Corner? ...in honor of our foundin father, of course! 8^P

Nah. I'm pretty sure it was Henry--that's why I said, "in honor of our founding father."

I do think we should keep the collector's corner bit in there though. It might bring in some people who may think the thread doesn't allow for non-toy collection, like props n busts.

 

Speaking of busts, this is what I get for being out of the loop for so long: the Gentle Giant AT-AT Driver that I would normally cinsider a must for my collection. Came out last Summer apparently. I found out last week. Now goes for way too much...!!!

WAVE 12 IS OUT!!!

My friend Pat found the Empire/Hoth wave at McCain TRU yesterday. He purchased all they had left.

I went to Maumelle Wally's with Pat last night where we found at least a couple cases worth. So if you want ice cream maker guy, black bespin guard or Zuckuss, they may still be there.

Turns out there is a packaging variant on my most-wanted figure of this wave: AT-AT Driver. He comes with helmet on and off. I need both mint! HELP!

Noah saw on the back of something the other day (I think it's concept snow trooper??) there's a Luke in X-Wing pilot gear with the grappling hook.... Noah wants it to dangle beneath the AT-AT (he has the one form the Power of the Force line back in the 90's??) I thought it was kind of cute...

 

That's the one! He's an awesome Luke, and they're supposed to be comin out with a new AT-AT this fall!
