So, there are now three Transformers films being developed.

Earlier this week, there was word of an animated Cybertron-set origin film unconnected to the live action films focusing on Prime and Megatron. From the director of Toy Story 4

Today, there's word of a Bumblebee universe-set film and a Beast Wars-based film.

I have in a pandemic induced run of boredom gone out and bought G1 seasons one to four to go with my copy of the movie.

They have just arrived so thats me for the remainder of the weekend.

Now that TF: The Movie is 34 years old this week, The Cybertronic Spree released their Darkest Hour EP for kickstarter backers that basically adds the 4 tracks not included on the official soundtrack, which they covered on their recent album (which is now available on CD/for purchase beyond backers). One of those tracks I hadn't heard pf before- "No Mercy", a song with lyrics by Vince DiCola that was rejected for the film's soundtrack.

TCS's version is still only for backers, but here's the original (or a version of it):

War for Cybertron on Netflix - shockingly good. Long wait for the next chapter though apparently.

Watched the 1st episode yesterday during my workout. I liked "rough around the edges" Bee. I'll probably watch more today.

Not bad series. A few changes to the regular G1/Transformer plots and the animation is pretty decent. And I enjoy all the references. I'm looking forward to the next part.
