I wonder... Did Sidious know about Mustafar's Dark Side Nexus when he sent the Seperatists there?

Maybe, I don’t know. Cool idea to explore.

On one hand, I feel like Sidious of all people would know about whether or not a planet would be cloaked in the dark side. However, Mustafar in the grand scheme of things is rather out of the way. It makes a rather decent hidey-hole for the sep leaders.

Although.. It is awfully convenient that Sidious sends Vader to Mustafar so quickly.. Maybe he beleived Vader could draw from the planet's dark side power to fuel his own? An interesting thought..

Maybe Palpatine foresaw the battle between Kenobi and Vader?

    I do wonder.

Probably, in Legends or Canon, the world has a Sith legacy.

Also, I just reread Deceived by Paul Kemp, and although I did not necessarily enjoy it last time, I appreciated it this time all the more. Malgus was an underused character, it seems.

Or, that it gave him a bit of a shove in that direction. I note that OB1 was a bit on the angry side.

I think that may have been due to the minor event that was "Order 66", instead of the planet itself

@DarthJaceus, you appear to have noticed us. *smiles softly*

    Are you joining our Order?

Lord Caedus is among my favourite Sith. A brilliant man, reborn by the grace of the Old Ones, seizing his fate from the galaxy.

Ugh. Caedus. You and I have never agreed on that poser, Emperor. I found he (and Maul) backed into every victory he ever had (Mara Jade is a good example). He was heavy handed (Kashyyyk). And he never, ever, found an apprentice who wanted to follow him. He wasn't a leader like Bane or Plaguis or Sidious. I found him a weak version of a dark side follower.

Edit: Also, previous Sith have been puppetmasters. Jacen did it all himself making himself a big lightning rod for the consequences.

Perhaps, my lord. I've been enjoying reading through so far. I will continue to watch and learn for now, see if this is something I can contribute to. Life is pretty busy, I wouldn't want to join just to fall off later on.

Exactly! People like @darklordoftech. However, if you plan to participate in the RP, I, personally, would like you to apprentice to someone here.

I remember Attack of the Clones.

It brought so much, on so many levels to the GFFA. Its ripples are still creating tidal waves today, especially here on the JCF.

I remember that AOTC brought new characters and species, like Taun We and Zam Wesell, and many other secondary and tertiary characters. All brilliant creations in the GFFA.

Lord Tyranus, a powerful Sith Lord, stood out. I admired him. He was the best, except maybe for Palpatine.

And the mystery of Sifo-Dyas was intriguing. Later resolved in the Clone Wars series; how the Jedi named Kenobi sought to discover the mystery was fascinating though. Even Master Yoda was fooled in the end. It cost Mace and most of the Jedi their lives; that lack of awareness.

And Anakin. Padmé. Their journey. To the dark side. Very intense. Very dangerous.
From time to time. Sad. And inevitable.

Jango. Boba. The Clones. The Sith. The Jedi. All of it. Sensational.

Yes. I remember Attack of the Clones.

    With admiration and awe.

    The similarities are eerie

    1. Both played by Christopher Lee
    2. Both former members of a once respected order (the Jedi Order, the White Council)
    3. Both serve a powerful dark lord (Lord Sidious, Sauron)
    4. Both raise up a large army to take down their enemies (Separatists' battle droids; Uruk-hai)

Then we have Andy Serkis as Gollum and Snoke, both corrupted by a dark side object or a quest for power (although we still don't know the details of Snoke's rise). Both looking somewhat frail, but would be foolish to underestimate them (Frodo did, almost to his peril), and despite his frail appearance, Snoke still had enough power to toss around enemies (or underlings) like rag dolls ala the Hulk and Loki.
