After two long years of living among my fellow Sith, the rank of Darth has finally been achieved. The journey was long, fraught with danger and betrayal, yet here I stand, stronger than ever before..

Melodrama aside, this is a great honor, and I can't wait to see what happens next! Thanks everyone!

Some minor housekeeping, going with the results of the trial's finale, Vyatoris will remain, for the time being, deceased. So, whenever I'm in character here, it will be as Darth Iudex. ( @QueenSabe7 ) Although saying that.. Vyatoris may pop up every now and then in here as a spooky librarian.. Because uh, It's still a funny image for me.

@DarthIshyZ , As for the most memorable part of the path, I gotta go with the final trial. Using aspects of Dante's Inferno for a spirit quest was truly inspired, and a ton of fun to play around in. It's definitely given me some ideas to workshop with in the future

Thank you. That was quite educational. I was pronouncing it in Latin. Koh-see-tus. I guess one needs to 'see' with ones 'eye' to get it right. Now I get some more linguistic EXP, which I'm always grateful for.

 

Update:

Interesting. The word is originally a Greek word and its natively pronounced 'Ko-see-tus', while 'Ko-Keye-tus' is anglicized. *( I suspected as much ). Well played. I enjoyed this linguistic challenge.

 

I pronounced it 'Coc-i-tus', and as someone who studied Latin in high school, my pronunciation should have been better.

 

Well it also sounds cooler when pronounced with "k(eye)". Gives it a bit more ominous and power in my bias opinion...

Well, the Sith are the learned scholars, after all. Even when we have to kill our subjects to learn. Bring them back, certainly.

 

I, too, pronounced it as Cade-Us.
