I woke up early this morning and played a bit of Scooby Doo Mystery on the SNES console. It's pretty tough for a "kids game," at least the jumping mechanic. The sprites look perfect, just like from the cartoon. You play as Shaggy and Scoob and have to keep checking in with Freddy, Velma, and Daphne to progress after you find clues. It's a cute game.

 

I don't know how anybody with kids does it tbh.

My aunt makes those at Christmas, but with normal Hershey kisses, not Vader ones.

How did the interview go?

 

It went well. I have a second interview. Though I'd have to have a pay cut for a company I want to work for and a location.

Nothing much, really. Just taking the little one to appointments while trying to find a job. How about you?

Thank you! It's a mile down the street from where I live now, so I'm not really going anywhere. It will take a few minutes of my commute time, however. My shift starts at 7:30 and I try to leave around 6:50 so this leaves me a little extra time to get my lessons prepped and classroom set up. However, where I live (Fairlington) is a self contained neighborhood and the local elementary school has bus pick ups on Abingdon (the road I take to avoid some congestion/lights on Route 70), so I run the risk of being behind a school bus doing morning pick up on my way to work. With the new place, it will take me to where I turn to get onto Route 7, with a few minutes to spare.
