By the way I like your armor (avvie), I recollect when you had no body. Someday I need to pay you back a debt for not finishing our duel when I was a Jedi (NJT 2.0, now Peacekeepers).

Speaking of Palpatine, I wanted to run a theory by you all.
I was ruminating on Palpatine’s supposed death in ROTJ. I wondered if he planned it. Sheev was shrewd and when he told Lord Vader the Son of Skywalker lives, he must have known this would lead to Anakin’s possible resurgence. My theory is Palpatine orchestrated his own defeat to achieve this aim, a New Sith Empire. The Galatic Empire was a product of Republican bureaucracy, and while The Senate was dissolved in ANH, many of Imperial Commanders and leaders were not keen on The Force, one even baiting Vader in the board room with Tarkin present. My theory is in order to make a transition to a Sith Empire, Sheev needed to destroy the hope of the Galactic Imperials, and set up his First and Final Orders. At that point the Imperial Navy would be so desperate for victory they would tolerate Sith rituals, armies, and arcanery.

Thoughts? Am I stretching too far? I just feel Lord Sidious knew Vader was going to betray him, and it explains his survival, and why he had a hidden Sith fleet on Exegol; his intent not to just be a Dark Side leader of an empire, but to forge a Sith Empire that would spread the Dark Side across the galaxy.
