    Oh, wow. It just have been for a special event because they’ve had rules in place that adults can’t wear costumes into Disney parks. The kids can, obviously, since there are thousands of little princesses running around.

    It was before Covid but they were letting people either come to Galaxy's Edge in their Jedi or Sith costumes or change into them there, but just when they were in that part of the park. So not sure if it was an event or not, can't remember.

    I know Jedi and Sith robes are acceptable (and lightsabers), but nothing more elaborate than that. They don't want people rushing up to other guests asking for photos/drawing a crowd when they have their own 'face characters' walking around the park. It also presents liability issues. They've been really strict on that stance. Even when they held the special after-hours events, they encouraged cosplaying, but they wouldn't allow anyone to wear helmets or have anything covering the face.
