A Drabble is an extremely short work of fiction with exactly one hundred words. The purpose of the drabble is to teach brevity and test author's ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in an extremely confined space.

100 Drabbles in twenty weeks.

[color=darkred][b]THE RULES[/b][/color]

[color=darkred][b]1[/b] [/color]Each Friday I'll post 5 topics. You will have one week to write a drabble on each topic.

[color=darkred][b]2[/b] [/color]Latecomers are always welcome, but you must start at the beginning!

[color=darkred][b]3[/b] [/color]To keep things neat and tidy, please start your own Drabble thread in the era you are most likely to write them for. Post all five of each week?s drabbles in a single post. I will create an index for our threads here in resource. Simply post a link to your thread in here when you first start it, so that I know where to find them.

[color=darkred][b]4[/b] [/color]You can write them all in one day or spread them out throughout the week, your choice. Just be certain to have all 5 drabbles for each given week in a single post.

[color=darkred][b]5[/b][/color] You can follow a thread through your drabbles. They can be canon characters, OCs, etc. You can use just one character, a different character a week, or a different one for each drabble.

You simply must remember one thing:

[color=darkred]These are drabbles! [b]They must be 100 words each.[/b] No more, no less.[/color]

I've got 3 out of the 5 done. This is such a wonderful idea! It really got the old creative juices flowing. It took me less than 30 min with breaks to write the ones I've done so far!
