Trent Green on this broadcast makes me so happy.

I'm digging this, although this Bergovici guy needs to learn to get the ball out.

Love the transparency on challenges. That's something that should catch on.

Well it ain’t the NFL but I ll be damned if it ain’t better then having to wait till next Aug/Sept. I’m bummed they ain’t showing tomorrow’s game of Memphis v Birmingham at 3 to.

Ain’t it obvious I’m from Louisiana?

    That was fun.

Fun game, its surreal and pretty cool that its a week after the big game and football isn't over. Enjoyed the game quite a bit.

Phillip Nelson wasn't a name I was ever expecting to hear again. But I remember when he was QB for the Golden Gophers. Good for him, too bad he threw that pick in the end-zone that ended the chances of a comeback for San Diego.

Yeah, it's nice not to have to wait for the Combine or the Draft for something for a taste of something even remotely tangible of football.

It'll be tough sledding to be successful.
Continued fan support in stadium, average tv ratings and perhaps an NFL partnership or something.

As typical with ESPN, there are no AAF scores in the ticker. They're the worst. They pulled this crap with Arena League too. Never covered it. As soon as they started airing games there it was in the ticker. And then gone once off ESPN.

So if you're wondering who to root for, each AAF has four official NFL affiliated with rights to their players. For the Chiefs, it's San Antonio. So go Commanders!

Ah cool Salt Lake Stallions v Arizona Hotshots coming on in 20 on NFLHD.

I’ve got my eye on Stallions solely for the colors of their helmets.

I'm sure Spurrier enjoyed that opening win. He probably thought it was a flashback to the days when the Gators were whipping up on Georgia. :p

Matty Simms "played" at UT, and Atlanta is close enough to Athens. So yeah, it was just another in a long line of curbstompings at the hand of Stephen O. :p

Still better than the Steelers Bumblebee unis.

Edit: So the Washington affiliate was the one that lost to Spurrier's team last night. Pretty much sums up my football year.

Well some good news. The Saturday night game beat the NBA’s OKC vs HOU matchup in TV Ratings. .9 to their .7

idk what's more of a joke about about the affiliate list, that Browns fans are supposed to cheer for Trent Richardson again or that they're supposed to cheer alongside Pissburgh fans

I hope after this opening weekend we will begin to see packed stadiums. Tonight’s Arizona game wasn’t to populated. This needs to change.

Bummed that SL lost. I’m interested in them, Memphis, Birmingham and Orlando.

Caught a few minutes of the Salt Lake/Arizona game... wasn't terrible football (despite the no kick-offs) by any means, but I just don't know if it's enough to draw me in; don't a mind a break from football, you know.

I think that will help sustain the AAF, moreso if it becomes a developmental league; especially for QBs. There's such a big difference between the college game and the NFL, so QBs need something like the AAF to mature and build confidence.

I was able to catch the first quarter of the San Diego/San Antonio game. Not impressed with the quality of play, but the pace of the game moved along really well.

I'll probably catch a few more games.

The ex Vikings are all in Salt Lake, but the Ex Gophers are all in San Diego. Tough call there.
