My first Super Bowl when I was 10 in 1976 between Pittsburgh, my team, and Dallas. Classic game. And they’d meet again. So they became my favorite NFC team.

Then we moved to Texas and in 1993 Gene Stallings, Cowboy DB coach from 1972-1985, led Alabama, my NCAA team, to its first National championship since 1979, destroying Miami in the Sugar Bowl. And Jimmy Johnson, who had taken Miami to its second title and turned them into the Bad Boys, led Dallas to its first Super Bowl title since 1978, destroying the Buffalo Bills. Both Stallings and Johnson did it with D, ST, and RTDB! But the Cowboys always had a passing game Bama never did.

But I can understand if you don’t like the Boys. Not controversial at all despite founding owner Clint Murchison, Jr., leading such a wild lifestyle, but Jerry Jones is controversial. Acceptable if you’re winning 3 Super Bowls in 4 years.

Since Johnson it’s been bumpy at best for the Pokes.

So in non - Antonio Brown news, the Immaculate Reception was named NFL Network's greatest play of all time.

 

AB says he will no longer play in the NFL. Hope he goes to prison if those accusations are true.

 

He also called out Big Ben and Kraft which filled me with delight.

 

He was a homeless teenager who made it big, and now he’s destroying his own life. He needs major help. I hope he gets it in prison.

 

I saw his statement; one of those "everyone is to blame, but me" - I will honestly be surprised if the XFL will go near him.
