Maybe I’m just getting old, but this whole ritual feels dumber every year. I kinda wish Democrats had been correct in proclaiming a Republican victory in midterms would be an existential, constitution ending crisis for the Republic. Then we wouldn’t have to watch it anymore

 

Glad it’s not trump giving the speech. Awarding Kyle Rittenhouse a medal of freedom. Celebrating the US and Russia’s successful conquest of Ukraine.

 

The law enforcement issue is a touchy subject for me because on one end I agree with some of what the President said and completely agree that there are many good police officers out there, but much like everything else in this country failed policies, procedures and entrenched camps that have beliefs make it hard for change and let me tell you that people that have or know they have broken the law seldom admit to it. And the scary part is that we are still better than the rest of the world because in other countries they don't even address the issues like we do.
