Wow Ken Starr flipped. Too bad it won't come to anything. The GOP Senate will still bail Trump out.

 

Again he could shoot the whisteblower and they would not care. The ONLY thing I could see possibly be happening is McConnell pushing DJT to not run next year due to "health reasons" and replace him on the ballot with Nikki Haley which is what they want anyway.

 

Maybe, just maybe, that will be enough to flip the Senate next year.

Instinct still tells me this will be forgotten by next year, though. Things that are closer in time to the election--like economic conditions or an unpopular SCOTUS decision (or a vacancy)--will be more in the forefront of the public's consciousness then what's happening right now.

No one this planet told you that President Trump was tying aid to investigations, yes or no?"

"Yes," Sondland replied.

"So, you've really have no testimony today that ties President Trump to a scheme to withhold aid from Ukraine in exchange for these investigations?" Turner asked.

"Other than my own presumption," Sondland said.

"Which is nothing," Turner responded.
