OOC The War Room - Episode X OOC

Next update coming tonight.

 

Oh Soa is one tough Jedi.

After all the 50 shades of grey we got from our Jedi, she actually is the exotic one now.

 

The dynamic between a devoted Jedi Knight in Soa and a Jedi apprentice who was raised by warriors in Akeem is making for a good interaction.

Soa sees Akeem as just another young apprentice who has not learned to control his emotions and Akeem sees in Soa the same calmness and pacifism that he saw lead to the deaths of the other apprentices. It'll be engaging to write him as someone who believes in the Jedi. He grew up on the tales of heroism of the Jedi of the Clone Wars. To him they are legendary warriors. But he sees the Jedi of the current age as a group that has lost their way and are vulnerable.

The best part being that: he's not entirely right and he's not entirely wrong. But he's too young to distinguish the nuances of such. Not to mention, he's heavily weighed down by survivor's remorse and his thirst for vengeance.

Needless to say, I'm very attached to the character so far.lol

 

Great fun to see all of the cast struggle with the riddle if a war is coming, while LordT posts cut-scenes of a giant Armada right on their way to us. Guess the Battle of Elyseum will truly be the Skirmish of Elyseum in History Books. How was the next stage of the war called? The Massacre of Corsin!

Oh this is getting more and more interesting ... but why is Valerius getting all these beautiful pictures? I am getting jealous!

 

Gotta say I love the Soa vs. Akeem dynamic.

Busy week, so my next update comes on Friday!

 

Put the Jedi up early today ... everyone else follows tomorrow. For those interested, I will be doing heavy updating duty over the weekend and from there on we do updates every Tuesday and potentially Friday (if it fits).

We won't be doing Elyseum speed, but for those who like it a bit faster, we got two updates a week.

Female and Togorian. Yeah, I had a post where I wrote about him. Which is strange. Writing late at night I guess. I always imagined her to be a Togorian female Jedi Knight smart-a**.

 

Uh.....ooookay.
guess that explains why the pictures didnt match....

 

Next update on Fordsy for the early birds and next Tuesday then the regular one.

 

So, my little summary of what happened so far . . .

- Canos Zoren, main bad guy and complete psycho dad seems to be totally not afraid of Jedi. Which makes me kinda nervous for everyone in his vicinity.

- Akeem is not gonna make friends anytime soon. Haha. Can‘t wait to see where this is going.

- Soa has the Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 2 vibe.

- Tanee hopefully got no cat allergy. I got the feeling she got a new Master. Saleen has so far been a pretty cool cat (pun intended).

- Republic is so unprepared it almost hurts. Could we please get a real Admiral?

- Valerius is so gonna be in trouble. Love Trian.

- The Reaper is on Corsin, could someone please kill him? I hate that guy for what he did on Elyseum.

- Iteration convinced me Hardy would be a good Bond.

 

Akeem is not in the friend making business.

He's in the business of trying to get the heck off of yet another planet that is under attack.
