A race of people built a super computer named "Deep Thought" to tell them the meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

After 10 million years of calculating, he answered them.

42.

"We are gonna get lynched!"

Deep Thought pointed out that their ancestors had not specified the question. They asked him if he new what the question was.

His answer, "No."

But he forsaw that another computer would come, a computer who's operating capacity he was not fit to calculate, but who would be created by Deep Thought.

"This is getting a little overly-Messianic here."

So they created this computer, and named it....Earth.

It would take 50 million years to calculate the qauestion to the answer of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

But it was destroyed 5 minutes before it could compute.
