If only one character could be resurrected from SW Legends, which would it be and why?

If you could have any animal as a pet, disregarding practicality (you could have an elephant and not clean up after it), what would it be? Why?

 

I think I would like a garter snake because they are non poisonous and they eat bugs.

How did you find the JCF?

Idk if it was before or after I saw TFA, but I was looking for stuff on Rey & Kylo Ren, & wound up here. Lurked a bit before joining; I’d only gotten into SW that year & had no one irl to talk to about SW in depth, so I’m grateful I found my way here.

How did you come up with your username?

It’s the name of the protagonist in The Blue Castle, by L.M. Montgomery. Lazy me spelled it wrong (lol I didn’t feel like checking first); but I think Valency sounds/looks better than Valancy anyway.

What's your favourite era of SW? (OT, PT or ST?)

Whelp, not the OT lol. While I really, really like the ST, my favorite is definitely the PT. All 3 films are so insanely gorgeous and so many details went into the design of everything - characters, planets, ships, etc. I find the aesthetics of the PT the most pleasing; there’s virtually nothing I don’t like about them, & I see something new in them every time I watch them.

What is your favorite scene in each of the PT films?
In TPM, Ani leaving Shmi is a fave moment. Shmi’s an underrated character imo, & all of their interactions in TPM & AOTC slay me. AOTC I hate having to pick one from! I love the Anidala scenes especially (see next question lol), but if I had to pick, I love how sweet & silly the picnic scene is. ROTS, definitely the Ani/Obi battle at the end, so awesome & tragic.

Do you 'ship A/P?
Clearly! And Reylo. Those are my main SW ships but really I like so many ships, canon & head canon/non-canon ones alike.

Who is your most/least favorite SW character?
Least is easy lol: Poe Dameron. Love Oscar, but cannot stand Poe at all. Would’ve been much happier had he died in TFA like he was supposed to. (Luke I also don’t like much, but at least I like ROTJ & TLJ Luke; tv show Poe, book Poe, movie Poe, etc. I can’t stand any of them. )

Most fave is hard! I hate only picking one. Idk. As of late it’s been Kylo Ren/Ben Solo, but I really, really love Padme too.

Favorite musical instrument?
I've never learned how to play one, but I really like pianos & keyboards.

Favorite cuisine & favorite sweet snack?
Favorite cuisine...idk. Probably American? Love a great burger & fries. Do ice cream & cake count as snacks lol? Cause I love them both so much.

Have you ever role-played?
I joined a sith thread a while back but I didn’t last long. Trying to get into RP again but I find it extremely difficult to think up a different character to play as & follow through with, when I want to just be myself.

Probably autumn cause of the transition to sweater weather & halloween.

Hm...haven't been many places, but I've been to one celebration & I'd love to go to another one. And I really want to get back to DC; only been there once, so many museums & historical sites to see! I'd love to get to Prince Edward Island one day too.

What is your dream job?
Idk; that's a hard one. Haven't ever given much thought into a dream job. I like watching movies, so maybe a film reviewer?

Eh. Been a loooong time since I was on one. But as a kiddo I definitely did. (As long as they didn't go upside down; that was too much lol. )

UGH SO HARD I love both, but have to pick waffles. No nutella though, never actually had it but I don't think I'd like it, I'm not a big chocolate eater.

If you could live in any era of history, what would it be?
Hm...probably now lol. While I love learning about history & all the different areas, I don't think I'd really want to live at any other time. (Although I have a fondness for the fashions of yesteryear, and wouldn't mind spending some time in the 50s or 60s. )

Hardest/easiest subject in school?
Easiest was english, all the spelling/grammar/reading/writing. Hardest was math, all the maths. I still hate math.

Also some good Rey & Kylo dialogue, and I would love more than one scene with Rey & Rose; I feel like they'd be great friends.

Watching the OT for the first time in April 2015. ROTJ was a let down from the high I was on with ANH & ESB.
Who is someone you really want to cosplay?
Padme, who else. Any of her amazing outfits.
If you could rename a food, which would you rename and why?
Umm...idk. Maybe change the spelling of macarons or macaroons, to lessen the confusion between them.

 

Watch out for @Cowgirl Jedi 1701 and her machicolations; they are of the Dark Side. Crenellations are the one true way of medieval architecture.

Hobbies - crafting, especially crochet & counted cross stitch; puzzles (all of em - word ones, jigsaws); movies & podcasts.

If stuck in a queue, I’d do stuff on my phone and do a word puzzle book or read a book (always have one or the other with me).

That’s hard...guess I’d say creative, introverted, & hard-working.

Idk, I guess weirdest would be to visit locations where Halloween was filmed; I’d like to do that one day.

Fave ice cream: chocolate chip cookie dough. Cake: plain ol’ vanilla. Pie: pumpkin & apple.

Never called it a plushy lol, but yes I had tons of stuffed plush friends. Chief among them were a cute bunny & leopard cat.

I’ll take the latter AU what if.

If Vader had lived & defeated Palpy with Luke, I just feel so so bad for Leia having to face Vader, her biological father, and dealing with his role in Alderaan’s destruction & torturing her in ANH. And I think Luke would’ve been in a tough spot, having to tell people yep, he did lots of evil stuff, killed a lot of ppl, etc. but he’s my dad & deserves a tiny bit of credit for helping take out the greater evil. I think it may have pushed Leia & Luke apart, which would’ve sucked since they only just found out they’re siblings. :’(
