How did you come up with your username?

What's your favourite SW era?

What three words describe you?

Once EHT has answered these questions the floor is open to anyone to ask questions.

 

Anakin: “What have I done?!” Well, here goes.

My username took a lot of really deep, introspective thought to come up with. OK, it’s actually just my initials. That’s it. That probably makes it one of the most boring usernames here, but it’s simple and catchy.

Favorite SW era... hmm, good question. I’m pretty much a movie purist when it comes to SW, so I have no interest in eras only covered in Legends / EU. But I like all the movies, and I enjoy the long timeline they cover together so far. Within that, though, if I had to choose I guess I’d focus on the era covered by Rogue One through the OT. I like it all, but that period in particular feels the most “Star Wars” to me.

Three words to describe me... uggh, this is harder than it seems. I’ll go with funny, conscientious, and dad.

 

Two kids: nine year old girl and twelve year old boy.

I was three when SW first came out in '77. I saw it a few times in a theater with my parents when I was four, during its '78 theatrical re-release. So... SW fan since then.

Nothing too crazy with the $1M... I'd probably save most of it unless we decided to use it to buy a new house. Otherwise probably save most, but maybe buy new cars and stuff like that too.

So now it's time for the tough questions.

Either of those brands is fine. Peanut butter is great, though... also like some other less common brands. I just don't like the kind that has to be stirred.

Jam or jelly... both, I think. I think of them pretty interchangeably.

So I guess a brookie is part brownie, part cookie? Brownies and cookies are both great. So I'm guessing brookies must be too.

For what to happen? For Bardan to get to see a stripper? Sure, I guess.

A long time ago I used to have a revolving signature of SW movie quotes / lines. But I got tired of it and deleted that, and I guess just never really felt motivated to have anything else down there. I let my posts speak for themselves... haha. I also don't have any information to relay there; I'm a mod, but I don't have any other "titles" for things like fanclubs or games, etc. And I'm not on social media with a SW/JCF themed account, so no links to share there.

 

Good thing I don't have to answer that.

For @EHT : Favorite of the new Star Wars films (ST, Spin-offs)?

 

Both were pretty bad. I mean great... both were pretty great.

I've liked them all, but my favorite by far of the new (Disney era) SW films is Rogue One. It's amazing, and gets better with repeat viewings. They somehow made something that feels like a contemporary movie that also flows perfectly into ANH. It has somehow worked its way up to being my second favorite SW movie after ANH, which is impressive because I really like TESB.

 

I really can't choose a favorite SW character, and that's one of the things that I really like about SW. There are just so many great characters, each with their own small or large part of the story... whether villainous or heroic, inspirational or funny, they all really contribute to the larger whole.

My favorite OT movie is also my favorite SW movie, and also my favorite movie in general: ANH. It's mostly because it was first, the foundation that the rest of all this was built on. But it also still impresses me in how well written, performed, and executed the whole thing is. It's like Jaws in that it's one of those rare movies that almost defines movie excellence. Everything just works.

My favorite PT movie is ROTS. While I probably like TPM and AOTC the least of the SW movies, I think that ROTS went a long way in showing how important the PT was. And I really like seeing all its payoffs as it connects the foundational pieces of TPM and AOTC into what comes after it in the OT.

 

This should become a required question.

What do you do for a living?

 

Yup, we’ve been married 18 years. It’s just flown by.

I work in IT (and previously Finance) for a large telecommunications and entertainment company.

 

Jesus, you're almost identical to me.
