If you saw a real alien, what would you do?

Depends, if it's just an encounter, I'd be excited but still cautious until I knew how it would react. If it was coming at me with a weapon, defend myself if I can and try to survive. If I couldn't, run like the blazes. lol

Do you follow any of the awards shows (Oscars, etc)?

Not in a very long time.

What's your favourite book at the moment and why?

All time favorite is Dune. I could read and reread it every day. But current one I'd say is Changes, by Jim Butcher. Excellent writer, a story that from the first in the series has developed well and makes you look forward to the next in the story.

Lets see, trillions of stars in the universe, just in the Milky Way hundreds of millions, with gods only know how many planets and we've thought, well ignorant of those planets for millennia, that we were alone. Somehow in all that vast expanse I seriously doubt that we're the only ones.

Do you think space travel will be the norm in your lifetime?

Depending on what other advances in the Sciences occur in my lifetime, including life extension ones, it's possible, not sure how likely with the way humanity is, but possible.

What non-SW franchises do you religiously follow?

Oooo boy! There are several different mediums that could cover.

Books - Dresden Files, Both of Simon R Greens major series, Several different Series by John Ringo, several of David Weber's series, David Eddings two series of fantasy, Terry Brooks Shannara books, Neil Gaimans books, Asimov, Herbert, Heinlein, Arthur C Clarke, most golden age fantasy and sci fi writers as there are way too many to continue listing.

Comics - Most of the Marvel titles I try to, at least, keep track of, but they are so spread these days sometimes it's tough, same with DC

TV - Star Trek - well didn't like Enterprise, and Voyager was iffy for me. Supernatural, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Forged in Fire, watched Constantine until it was cancelled, Firefly the same, The Witcher, would love to say the Mandalorian but no D+ here until March

Film - Aliens, Predator, Star Trek, John Wick, Matrix, the MCU, the DCEU just to see how they keep trying, know there's more but can't think of them at the moment

Curse of a near photographic memory and insatiable curiosity. Plus being able to save many of the to DVR to watch, for TV shows and movies, at least, helps. As to books and comics, I can finish a 300 page book in a day, if it interests me or is from one of my favorite authors.

Lol, only in secret, I can't dance, two left feet. So I tend not to subject others to the pain of seeing it.

I know because I've tried. I can do the old white man shuffle but that's about it, lol.

Currently, been a stay at home dad. Now that they're all in school looking for part time work, for the hours they're in school.

Ohh, no no no, not getting in between you two. I have just enough tact to know not to do so.

I actually asked him elsewhere how close I was to the mark, and he said I was 'spot on'. Hence why he's not answered

Well I grew up listening to my parents music so probably either Pink Floyd or some Jimmy Page or Robert Plant

Old School rock like what I said in the last question

English, more Flemish than regular Dutch, and a smattering of Spanish

What SW character do you love to hate?

The one I dislike the most is Jar Jar Binks, gets me into arguments with the wife as he's one of her favorites.

Plenty of things I wouldn't do, but I do enjoy one when I can find it.
