Welcome to the YJCC Sleepy Hotel Game Thread!

READ THE FIRST POST BEFORE POSTING!

Sorry for the short delay...just had a few things to handle after just coming home.

First of all, a huge thanks to all of those who joined this game. You will all have a fun time, guaranteed. Secondly, thanks to Bria who helped a large amount with the Sleepy Hotel Recruitment Thread, and to jedi-mind-trick as well. Thirdly, thanks to milney who created the SH Banner and the teaser/trailer. He will also be acting as the Hotel Concierge throughout the entire game.

And lastly, thanks to The Bigger Fish who will be acting as the game?s sponsor, and is thirsty to ban some unfortunate murder victims! He is taking over what Darth_Dagsy?s role was in Sleepy Castle.

As you know, the Sleepy Hotel is taking form as the Plaza Hotel. Here are some pictures of this most excellant hotel choice for this game:

The Backstory

There were fifty people in the seats of the hotel?s theatre, viewing an opera in the middle of the day. One of them stealthily left the theatre area and found the lobby. Looking around at all the happy couples and families, the person took out a Motorola Walkie-Talkie and whispered, ? Send the mobmen in. It?s time to begin.?
Looking towards the entrance, the person watched as around twenty black dressed and masked cold-blooded killers walked in, their great variety of weapons about to disclosed...

The person smiled evilly and walked up the hotel stairs, ready to do his or her [you didn?t think it would be that easy, did you!?] part in the plan. Looking back down the stairs, the person looked on as security guards seemed alerted by the ominous people covered fully in black clothing. Running up the stairs, the Walkie-Talkie person made his or her way to the main reception area and when slightly hidden behind a column, took out a cell phone and called 9-11.

Isabel nodded her head and smiled, she was already in love with the city!
She took of her earphones, while the Cd was still playing, it was of course her favorite singer, songwriter John Mayer and his Wonderful Cd Room For Squares...

Jessica nodded. She had her backpack on, fixing her hair a bit. She looked around at the other people, smiling , a small smile. She ran to under a table, hopping to be safe.

"They never taught me this stuff in Teacher's College"

Jani poked her head out of her room, scared. For one thing, there would be no classes... she knew she shouldn't have gone to NYC...

She sees Isabel and waves a tentative hi. We're all in this together, aren't we?

In Character--Rocco Slips on battery powered infra-red head gear and runs in the lobby in a flanking position until he finds cover, and can consider the situation and his options.

IC Isabel Mayer:

Isabel waved back at Jani, and before she could say anything, she looked horrified, there was blood everywhere!
"Something is happening here, look!"....

Hello?!?

*Lets out a scream from all the blood and bodies*

 

Concierge

The concierge watched everyone running around in a panic.

"Please everyone calm down and..."

The concierge was knocked to the ground by someone running past.

 

Jessica saw bodies, everywhere.

"Not good at all"

She watched everyone panic.

 

*hides in closet*

 

*Allison looks around a bit scared before crawling under a table*

 

*Runs over to the Concierge*

What happened?!?!

 

JANI:

Everyone! He was probably right... if we stay together, there's safety in numbers. A water glass will tell us if someone's approaching-- ripples will form.

Everyone? ::slightly hysterical::

 

(OOC: Are battery-powered items OK?)

Paul slowly returned to his room, using the light from his watch to illuminate the room number to make sure it was his.

He slipped the key into the lock and slowly turned it, trying to be as quiet as possible, then slipped into his room and locked it behind him.

 

IC:

She came out of the small closet she was hiding in, took a small flashlight that was on her keychain and started walking in search of other persons.

"This does not look good at all"
