*holds onto Horatio's legs and lets him fly him around the hotel*

IHM: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.

I have some news.

The game ends late tonight, on this Easter of 2005, nearly a year after the game began.

As you may or may not have seen, malkieD2 posted a harsh but necessary ultimatum in the SI Recruitment Thread.

For the past few days I have been thinking on the matter of putting this game to sleep. It has gone on long enough and it just seems... bloated and tired.

The murderer will select the winner. The winner will recieve one-week VIPship, in line with the JC's new VIPship policies stating that none last longer than a week. So unfortunately, no one will recieve the promised two-week VIPship.

The rest of you who do not win will recieve no awards but you will not be given game bans due to the game ending on such short notice. I'm sure you think this is fair.

The Sleepy Isle game will begin on Wednesday, March 30th. Exact time on that day is TBA. You have until then to decide whether or not you want to join the game.

Important information concerning SI recruitees will be posted in the recruitment thread, as well as very important information concerning the game format.

EDIT: The winner has been chosen. He/she will be revealed tomorrow night.

The game is still in full operating mode until then.

Chaz finds a flamethrower in the supply closet(dont ask), and with the aid of Horatio, travels down to the dungeons, ready to rid the hotel of the beasts once and for all.


Horatio attacks and kills a few lone gremlins along the way. They pass the firs few nests, charred from one of their battles. Then past the sniped-out nest, to yet untouched hives, teeming with gremlins. Chaz aims and fires a blazing trail of fire at the nests and gremlins, sweeping the great tongue of fire across the giant room. Nests smoke, gremlins sizzle. Horatio takes care of any deserters.


When the fires subside, they make their way to the next door, the final room, the breeding ground. The Queen and her elite guards.


Before going through, Horatio speaks to Chaz.

"No, you can't do that!"

*growl grarl hiss*

"No....Horatio, don't!"


Before Chaz can do anything, Horatio bursts through the door, buzzes over the guards' heads, and leads them away from the Queen gremlin, taunting and hitting at them, till one jumps and grabs him, pulling him down. He puts up a fight, but Chaz knows he'll be overpowered soon. He has to take this chance. He runs toward the queen, and she notices him at the last second, spreading her wide jaws and bringing them down around Chaz. He jumps back as her mouth closes over the nozzle of the flamethrower. He looks into her surprised eyes and pulls the trigger, filling her full of fire. As her abdomen bursts open in flames, the guards come running to help, only to be enveloped by flames themselves. Chaz runs over to Horatio, who's lying on the ground. He picks him up, as the last breath passes from his lips.


Slowly, quitly, he carries him back through the dungeons, up to the hotel, as the flickering light fades behind him.

 

Well, in just a few moments, I will announce the winner of the Sleepy Hotel Game.

In the same post the murderer will be revealed. Then as soon as possible, the murderer will post how all the remaining active players got killed off.

It's been a long game everyone, with some great times however.

I wonder if the fourth game will finally break the mold.
