JCC THERE IS A FREAKING BAT IN MY ROOM

    Eh animal control said it is probably a juvenille that got lost. I had the attic cleaned of bats and patched up two years ago. We had the garage and the door to the house open yesterday to work on the smart garage. It probably got in then.

    We named them. Until we lost count.

    My wife and I would be in bed when they would all come home drunk after a night of carousing. They would scream at each other and argue over God knows what until 4 in the morning.

    Eventually, they moved further in and were behind the shower.

    This was all documented in my classic series on here, Batastrophe 13 and its sequel Batastrophe 14: The Summer They Came Home.

    It’s a pity the room does not have a window. If it did, I can see a solution that does not involve a two hour wait.

    I mean, I COULD get it open. But it's got all sorts of tin foil taped over it for my insomnia. I could rip it down and open the window if there were a fire. But I don't want to go in and do all that now WITH the bat. Last time I opened the door it was flying around in there. I don't want to get bitten.

    Yeah, open the window. Bats can see and hear and feel airways. It wants to leave in less than two hours more than you want it to.

    This is true.

    Even if you successfully remove the bat, you will never remove the scars. It's the bat's house now.
