Mod Approved, Winner Gets One Month Colors @Point Given

RULES

1. All picks PM’d to me prior to start of first game each week.
2. No spread, straight up pick winner.
3. Each game you will assign your confidence. Low number least confident, high number most confident. No duplicating confidence number. Wildcard and Divisional round confidence is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. Conference Championships is 7 or 9. Super Bowl will be 15 points to whoever you pick.
4. Each win will net you 3 points plus whatever confidence you have assigned.
5. Bonus Super Bowl Swami pick now before playoffs start. You can earn 15 bonus points if you pick the Super Bowl winner before playoffs. You will not be obligated to pick them later in actual Super Bowl should it benefit you to pick their opponent.
6. Winner will be person who accumulates most points after the Super Bowl finishes
7. Do not share your Swami pick publicly as it can give opponents an advantage later.

So id do Rams 3, Seahawks 6, but if I think they get to a conference final like Bills 7, but superpower id give them 15 or they just automatically get it?

 

Here’s an example from last year for reference. You would PM this info.

3. Titans v Patriots 2
4. Viking v Saints 4

@AutumnLight91 one thing to note that people have made the mistake of in the past is that the higher confidence numbers (4-6) should be assigned to the teams that you are most confident in winning. For example, let's say you're super confident the Bills will win at home against the Colts. You pick the Colts and go with confidence of 6. Then if the Bills win, then you'll get 3 points for picking correct times your confidence number of 6 for 18 points.

Conversely, if you're unsure about Bucs v Washington, then assign a lower confidence number (1-3) so this way if you chose the wrong winner, you lose less potential points. Make sense?

If only Washington had been able to play Alex Smith That's what I was banking on.

 

Heinicke comes from ODU, which is a local university here, and he did fairly well in the four years he was there. I thought he did a fairly decent job, of course against the King, sometimes it just isn't enough.

 

So Saints got to win today.

Which is weird rooting for them since I'm from Georgia...
