How do we not have a Jeopardy thread already?!

Jeopardy champion Amy Schneider was dethroned at long last tonight—the correct answer that eluded her in Final Jeopardy? Bangladesh, the only one of the top ten most populous countries in the world whose English name ends in “h.”

Amy Schneider and the recent Matt Amodio have both been thrilling champions to watch. Schneider just passed Amodio up to have the second-longest original run, but Amodio still earned more money.

I can’t believe Rhone didn’t bet everything he had, the lucky es-oh-bee…

I can get maybe 2 answers per show on Jeopardy but most of the time watching it just makes me feel even stupider than usual so I can never quite get into the international phenomenon because I just never enjoy wallowing in my own ignorance.

 

I was expecting a gif of Alex Trebek kicking someone into a pit, and instead it’s just a redundant thread.

Admittedly that’s probably the less embarrassing of the two to post.

We made the decision to have one host for the syndicated show next season to maintain continuity for our viewers, and Ken Jennings will be the sole host for syndicated Jeopardy!. Edit: Oddly, this statement reveals something that I had long suspected but did not have confirmation of: the ! in the proper name "Jeopardy!", when at the end of a sentence, does NOT act as sentence-ending punctuation, as both of the first two sentences of the statement end with the show's name and still have the period.
