Provo This is it!!! - The Costume list for the DVD Pickup!

Greetings Everybody,

Here is the costume list for the Episode I DVD pickup from Media Play in Orem on October 15-16. A seperate list will go up for Halloween.

Once again, here's the appearance scheule...

Appearance 1
Show up time: 10:45pm Monday, October 15
Mingle time: 11:30pm - 12:30am

Appearance 2
Show up time: 5:15pm Tuesday, October 16
Mingle time: 6:00pm - 7:00pm

Below is the list of costumes and their requirements. When you request a costume, please indicate which(hopefully both ) appearances you can make it to.

And now without further ado...

The Costume List

*** Men's Costumes ***

• Stormtrooper - Qty 6
  Stormtroopers must be between 5'10" - 6'2" in height. Weight should be between 175-200 lbs. Shoe size no larger than US men's size 11.



• Scout Trooper - Qty 1
  Height 5'10"-6'2". Weight not an issue. Shoe size no larger than US men's size 11.



• Imperial Royal Guard - Qty 2
  Height 6'0 - 6'5". Weight not an issue. Shoe size no larger than US men's size 11.



• Imperial Fleet Trooper - Qty 1
  Height 5'9" - 6'0". Weight not an issue. Shoe size no larger than US men's size 11.

*** Women's Costumes ***

• Queen Amidala - Theed - Qty 1
  Height should be 5'4"-6'0". This costume requires face makeup. Please wear your own comfortable shoes.



• Queen Amidala - Senate - Qty 1
  Height should be 5'4"-6'0". This costume also requires face makeup and a headpiece to be attached with bobbi pins. Please wear your own comfortable shoes.



• Padme - Tatooine - Qty 1
  Height is not an issue. Any hair style is acceptable, but something similair to Padme from Episode I would be nice. You will need to wear your own black pants and black flat soled shoes.



• Shmi Skywalker - Qty 1
  Height is not an issue. Any hair style is acceptable. Boots/shoes can be provided.

*** Unisex Costumes ***

• Greedo/Rodian - Qty 1
  Height: 5'3" - 5'9". Have to be able to fit into the jumpsuit. This costume has a latex mask and hands. Reugular breaks are recommended for anyone wearing a latex mask. Boots and blaster will be provided.



• Cantina Band Member/Bith - Qty 1
  Height is not an issue. This costume also has a latex mask and hands. Reugular breaks are recommended for anyone wearing a latex mask. Boots and Bith instrument prop will be provided.

*** Children's Costume

• Jawa - Qty 1
  No taller than 4'4".

*** Several costume assignments have already been made. Below is list of each of these costumes and the people assigned to wear them...

This will be a great event and will also complete our requirement to be recognized as an official FanForce Chapter!

Please don't forget to mention which sessions you can come to. For those of you without vehicles, we will arrange for rides after we have everyone committed. Please also mention if you need a ride.

I guess being 6'3" kind of limits my choices, but that's quite all right.

So I'll have to choose Royal Guard.

I can be to both showings too and I should be able to give a ride to 2 people if needed.

And no, I didn't have any unfair warning or anything... doesn't that make this kinda sad? =)

I'd be interested in the Padme Tatooine costume. I should be able to attend both times. I'd also like to reserve the other Imperial Guard costume for my husband, but he will need to supply his own shoes. He wears a size 13 shoe.

I don't know why, but I'm interested in the Amidala-Senate costume and am willing to wear whatever makeup necessary. I'm 5'3" and you know my build. What do you think?

Ok I am almost done with my Storm Trooper suit, but if needs be I will be done with my helmet right away.

If I need to borrow a trooper suit is that cool? I am going to check my schedule tomorrow and post which events or both that I can make it too.

This is going to be so much fun...might have to bring two rolls of film.

 

My mom said, "that sounds okay" which is as close to a "Definitely" as I'm going to get until Monday. So, yes, for sure. Both of my my parents said yes before, "As long as you don't dress up as sawtooth man"

And my friend Kris would like a stormtrooper costume, if it's possible to bring his own boots (he's size 15) Another friend Kyler will bring a Vader costume of his own, (assmuming that's okay, he wouldn't fit into any other ones) and if you can manage, my friend Carl would like to be Greedo.
However, don't let these stand in the way of anybody else. If anybody wants either of these costumes besides them, my friends feelings wouldn't be hurt if you took them.
