Micdavis just PMed me that we can have it at Otter's Den the Satuday before Halloween. I'd like it evening-ish and Star Wars costumes are not required (not just because I don't have mine yet :p ).
I'll take care of the food, just RSVP and tell me what we should do. Star Wars? Stupid Halloween games? Anything. :)

    Hey Folks,

I am down in San Diego returning shortly. Spent the week at WorldCon and doing some other things in SoCal.

Otter's Den is in Kent. Very close to the 212th Ave. exit off the 167.

Plenty of room for all, including an indoor swimming pool, there also may be a jacuzzi by the time of the party.

Otter has thrown a big party the last two years and is very interested in us making this one Star Wars themed. I have been ordered to complete my Han in Carbonite by then and there may even be an appearance of our favorite vile gangster.

It should be a blow out. We are welcome to contribute whatever effort we want to.

    See ya all soon.

Would he be okay with a generic 'geek' theme? Maybe Star Wars, LOTR, Star Gate, whatever. :D

I've carved a few Star Wars pumpkins in the past. I could see If I could make one or two to add to the decorations. It sounds like it will be a lot of fun!

Everyone is welcome. The more the merrier.

My friend Dave is nicknamed Otter. So he calls his house Otter's Den.

Dave is going out of town on the 28th for a few days.

I am going to house sitting for him so I think we should have a planning meeting at the house and get some ideas going for the party.
