    Yay!!

I also picked up more prizes and have a few decorations on hold at work. Jo-Ann has a sale on Halloween Decorations coming up, so I'll be picking up some stuff there too. :D
Anything in particular I should look for?

:) If they have glow sticks they come in pretty handy. They make cool lightsabers for pumpkins if you're gonna carve up a jedi. I already have a set of 6 glow bracelets. They were on sale... Who knows maybe we can find a use for them.

Ooooh! That is a good idea! I'll look for some. :D

And, I read through and didn't find an official time... I wanted to make official invitations to give to people at work and stuff, so I was wondering what a good time to officially start would be. I was thinking maybe 6pm? It should just be getting dark then.

How does that work? &pm would be good, too. :)

And Mike, when does Otter want us all out of his house? :p

I was thinking the pumpkin run and carving at 4PM leading into the regular party at 6 PM, food maybe at 7PM.

We can stay as long as we want. No curfew.

I am workig on a flyer/invitation, and should have it by tomorrow. I will post a .pdf file of it so anyone can print it or send a link to a invited guest.

Any ideas for a flyer. As I;ve said I can usually draw up stuff given a good idea. Otherwise we are stuck with my rather plain "style".

I asked Mike about doing some artwork for it. Hopefully we will hear back from him soon. :)

Other then that, just the regular info for where and when and also mention perks for coming--movies, food, door prizes, costume awards and stuff like that.

    Any other suggstions?

Jon, Mos Everett... sweet, the numbers are rising. As for Maco_Star's artwork...I don't know what to say... can't see the artwork (work computer is blocking the image and I don't have internet at my new place yet :( )

Just picked up all the plates, cups, etc. Enough for 30-40 people, so I am sure there will be extras (or not! I had no idea how many to plan for :p )
I also got a couple table cloths and finished up everything needed for the door prize.
Now all I need is to get food (major lists--stupid food magazones gave me tons of ideas) and to pick up some more costume prizes. And pumpkins. :D
... and whatever decorations we wanted. :p

    Hey guys,

Sounds like the Halloween Shindig is coming along nicely! :) Two questions for you all:

    1) Who's paying for it all? Can we contribute? Don't tell me you guys have a hook-up for free burgers and chicken too! [face_money_eyes]

    2) Can we invite the Seattle Star Wars Meetup gang as well?

Thanks, see you all soon -- really looking forward to it! [face_dancing]

I've been paying for everything I have been getting. And I can reimburse everyone else if they like (PM me!) It's part of being Chapter Rep. :p
Anyone who wants to contribute is welcome, but it's by no means a requirement.

And sure. The Star Wars Meet Up is more then welcome to join us. :)
