I have been a bit slack on the Aus forums for the last few months, and even WA for that matter, ao I thought I'd get to know my fellow neighbours (theoretically speaking).

Living on Southbank is the best. So visit Southbank and class it up with the scary yellow Dianetics vans on the boulevard!

 

Southbank = Blue Train = hot stone pizza. Mmmm.

Ballarat's not that bad...just kinda dull. And there's no Mrs Field's Cookies, which is a travesty.

 

Well, I haven't seen much of Melbourne. My cousin will probably show me around, or heaven forbid, there be a meet for my arrival....

We should all meet up and eat hot stone pizza and drink beer. If we can find a seat in Blue Train that is... Oh, but Bear Brass is nice as well! Good food equals good times for all!

Anyone else eat Blue Train pizzas? Any comments?

 

Pizza's good- not brilliant or anything, but it's pretty decent. The stone bread with dips is pretty good too. La Camera (upstairs) might have better pizza, but the cakes at Blue Train...

 

Well, anything's gotta be better than the pizza I had in Italy just recently. We had road stops when driving between the French Riveria to Florance, then Florence to Rome, and then Rome to Venice. We called them "Pizza Stops" and the pizzas weren't that crash hot. I've had better at Domino's.

There was a place in Venice the first time I went that did a nice pizza. Actually, the second time I went to Venice I found another nice pizza place. Just don't go to "Pizza Stops" when in Italy!

BTW, I should be in Melbs on Thurs Jan 18. I just need to book my flight now. And pack my bags to be trucked over!

 

I suppose the pizzas are okay at Blue Train, another great pizza place here in Melbourne, and I'm sure other Melbourners will vouch for it is Mojo's Pizza. They create a fantastic variety of wierd and wonderful pizzas, and desert pizzas also! Good times are had by all when you order from them.

 

Max Brenner's does a chocolate pizza, which sounds quite interesting...
