    I loved this part:

    Out on the dunes
    on the desert planet
    a mother longs
    and hopes
    for her son

**wipes a tear away from her eye**

You consistantly have beautiful work! =D= @};-

AnakinLuver: Um... yes? (It wasn't very public, I guess...) And thankyou. Here more is.

BrentusofGath: Keep 'em comming? Okay. :D (Thankyou!)

MirandaFair: Thankyou for such wonderful praise. :)

    On a jungle moon
    a ship arrives
    with hope
    in tow

    On a jungle moon
    plans are removed
    from a little
    droid

    In the briefing room
    a plan
    of attack
    is laid out

    In the landing bay
    a confrontation
    an apparent choice

    In the landing bay
    boyhood friends
    last minute
    reunion

    On a jungle moon
    a ship arrives
    with hope
    in tow

    To be continued...

Yeah, "last" is an appropriate word. Biggs is dead, long live Biggs! Good update!

    In the operating room
    pain
    is reality

    In the operating room
    far removed
    from one another
    two very different
    scenes
    play out

    In the operating room
    on Polis Massa
    hope
    is born

    In the operating room
    on Coruscant
    hope fades
    as realization
    sets in

    In the operating room
    evil lies

    In the operating room
    a young man
    falls
    into shadow

    In the operating room
    words
    of hope
    are spoken

    In the operating room
    a cry
    of grief
    is sounded

    In the operating room
    pain
    is reality

=D= Wow! Once again you have brought me to tears, Daena... so beautifully moving... I can just picture each scene with Padme, the babies, and Anakin/Darth Vader... (More?)

Double update to read. Goodie! [face_dancing] I loved first reading the Yavin poem, then reading the Polis Massa. They just seemed to parallel each other nicely.

    On a jungle moon
    a ship arrives
    with hope
    in tow

    and

    In the operating room
    on Polis Massa
    hope
    is born

Excellent switch on things. Oh--so poetic! @};-

MirandaFair: Strange how that happens, huh? Thankyou, MirandaFair.

    Out on the dunes

    a mother
    waits

    Out on the dunes
    in the darkness
    a mother
    watches the stars

    Out on the dunes
    a mother
    and a son
    share a moment

    Out on the dunes
    the far-off lowing
    of banthas
    is heard

    Out on the dunes
    the waiting
    is almost
    over

Another good update. I wonder why so few people read this. I guess there aren't that many poetry lovers out there.

    On a ship
    dreams
    are restless

    On Coruscant
    the dreams
    turn
    into nightmares

    The nightmares...
    the warnings...
    are downplayed
    and ignored

    On the desert planet
    in the early morning
    a woman
    is attacked and abducted
    and underneath a vaporator,
    a journal waits

    On Naboo
    in the Lake Country
    as two people
    grow ever closer...

    the nightmares...
    the warnings...
    can no longer
    be ignored

    On the desert planet
    the nightmare
    is suddenly,
    soberingly
    reality

    Out on the dunes
    distress
    and pain
    lead him
    ever onward

    At the camp
    a granted wish
    a parting
    rage and grief
    consume him

    Out on the dunes
    a lost journal
    a lost life
    lost innocence
    a parting

    And as a young man's
    world
    is torn apart
    a spiral
    towards the darkside
    is begun

    For better
    for worse
    there is no going back

    On a missing planet,
just south of the Rishi Maze,
    the clones wait
    and train
    and wait

    In the Temple Library
    a man encounters
    a mystery

    At a Diner
    on the city planet
    information
    is shared

    During a class,
    direction
    is given

    On a missing planet,
just south of the Rishi Maze
    the clones wait
    no longer
    but the mystery
    deepens

    Raining, Raining
    two men fighting
    in the rain

    Raining, Raining
    on a city
    that is never dry
    a father
    and a son
    live

    Raining, Raining
    two men fighting
    in the rain

    Fighting
    for survival
    for answers

    Raining, Raining
    always raining

    Raining, Raining
    pouring down
    Waves a-washing
    away the years

    Raining, Raining
    two men fighting
    in the rain

    Raining, Raining
    a young boy's world
    all he has known
    and it is
    about to change

    Raining, Raining
    two men fighting
    in the rain

    Raining, Raining
    on the missing planet
    the wait is over,
    and the mystery
    lingers

    Raining, Raining
    quick thinking
    wins a Jedi
    another day

    Raining, Raining
    two men fighting
    in the rain

    On the desert planet,
    a woman waits
    and works
    and cleans

    In a Toydarian's shop,
    a diary is started
in the hope that a son
    may one day
    see it

    In the slave quarters
    in Mos Espa
    a woman completes
    a project left behind

    A protcol droid
    now has "skin"

    On the desert planet,
    as life goes on

Excellent work, Daena. =D= Loved the POV with the "Rain" poem. I don't know if it's my cold, or being tired, but when I finally figured it out...it was a very cool thing. ;)

And I loved the Shmi poem. Taking us through how she gave 3PO "skins."
