Before - Legends Tired for the MMM challenge

Summary: Kaagi is on vacation.


“Kaagi, get this gear!”

The padawan was stretching and blinking with his eyes. He opened them fully and got a surprised look on his face when he saw his master not dressed in the usual brown and beige Jedi-robes but sturdy trousers and a molonin-wool sweatshirt. A similar outfit was in the hands of his master and was tossed on his bed.

“Hurry young man. I have a speeder ready. We are going to Mount Ifaan”

‘Ah a speeder’ Kaagi – blinking back the last vestiges of sleep – sat up in his bed and a soft one at that. Only yesterday he had followed his master to a transport that had given them a ride to the planet Lingala. Kaagi had been there often as an initiate. It was a place to go for training. A hotel in Ingal city was their destination. And Kaagi – tired after the trip but he had been when he entered the transport because of the rigorous obstacle course training taking all day – had seen his bed and fallen asleep almost immediately after his head hit the pillow.

Kaagi swung his long legs out of the bed and stumbled to the fresher. Did’t his master know that he was tired after a year following language lessons, medical practices, PT training, Lightsaber drills, swimming, mathematics, stellar navigation, piloting …?

One hour later padawan and master were following a group of similar dressed men and guided by an Ifaan National Park ranger on the slopes of Mount Ifaan.

Kaagi – forgetting that he was tired – hurried to the front of the group. And knowing that his master was following he said “this is beautiful master!” And he knew that more fun would follow. Just before leaving the hotel-room he had seen two wetsuits in one corner.

 

Oh how wonderful it is to read about Kaagi in his early Padawan days. And I can just believe he's tuckered.

 

HOW could I miss that?

Oh no, I know exactly how. Harsh days, with a lot of struggles.

But this was a sweet and fun bit for the MMM challenge. Thanks for the gratis smiles!

 

Not familiar with these characters, however they make an engaging pairing.

Good descriptions of clothing, and the padawan itinerary.

"Mount Ifaan" sounds vaguely familiar, but no idea from where.

I just hope that young Kaagi does not suffer any ill effects from strenuous exercise with no discernible food intake.

Good beginnings.

 

Fun spit-it of everyday life. With all the sitting down I've been doing in the recent days, I will say, I am mildly jealous of all the fun it looks like climbing Mount Ifaan would be.
