In honor of this illustrious occasion, hug a squirrel, or at least someone who loves them.
I absolutely rub squirrels
I gave a squirrel a hug, but it turned out to be a chipmunk. It laughed at me.
I just fed some squirrels. Success!
Squirrels? Well, we have no deal with them!
In my apartment, I'm facing a tree by the window. I finally saw a squirrel and waved at it, but it ran away.
There is a squirrel that hangs out on my front porch and torments my cat through the window, I'll make sure to wish him a Happy Squirrel day later.
Went across the street to the park with some peanuts. Got one to take one from my open hand, but no hugs.
Awwww too much cuteness.
I shoveled a dead squirrel off the driveway. It was so cute!
Show your squirrel appreciation by finding everyone's favorite squirrel:
I especially appreciate the grey squirrels - they know how to deal with the gingers.
Love this heheh
I will let the dog out in the back yard to celebrate this day. He loves squirrels.
Germans saying squirrel is awesome.
squirrels are just fancy rats.
its a funny word tho. i cant pronounce it well. like "literally" and "horror".
No one appreciates squirrels more than my dog. He thinks about them every day and always gives them his full attention and focus, day in and day out.
I like the red ones (though I've never seen one - they aren't in my area of the UK). However they are endangered here thanks to the greys - greys carry squirrelpox which is fatal to the red ones. The greys have immunity to it. There's been a call for a cull of the greys, which were introduced from North America.
North American tree rat is what we call the greys
Today is not Squirrel Appreciation Day.
Yeah - they are called tree rats here in the UK as well.
I still love me some squirrels. Sad about the red ones in the UK as I think they're cuter then the greys.
