TV Discussion Top 3 most anticipated

BRILLIANT!!!!

 

1. The Acolyte
2. Obi-Wan Kenobi
3. Andor

 

1. Kenobi (mostly for the promise of Anakin/ Vader, I admit)
2. Andor (I thought he would've been a better main lead in RO than Jyn, so I'm down for him having his own series)
3. Visions (just for the concept of SW being done in an anime-ish style)

Really, I don't think anything else is interesting. It's kinda nice that Lando would get a series, but... I dunno. Some of this stuff sounds like scraping the bottom of a barrel. And the idea of an Ahsoka show is just... ugh. Please don't have Vader show up in that unless it's to finally kill her.

 

1. Mando 3. It's been so good to date. Where to next?
2. Boba. So impressive in Mando 2.
3. Ahsoka. Compelling performance in Mando 2.

Surprising Lando has only 4 votes. I am more excited about Lando than 3 or 4 of the choices.

1. Ahsoka - Simply put its Ahsoka and hopefully more complex and tellings of her backstory and adventures.

2. Obi-Wan “Kenobi” - the standout character in Episodes I & II, the integration and continuing of his story after the Rise of Darth Vader and his studying of the Force.

3. The Mandalorian - Din, Cara, Greef the Black Saber, Gideon and more Bo-Katan. The foundational show that launched Disney + give me more.

This is the way

 

Oddly enough, anything having to do with the Imperial era is stuff that I'm interested in.

Specifically:

1) The Bad Batch

2) Obi-Wan Kenobi

3) Andor

I say "oddly enough" because I'm a bit sick of the Imperial era, and yet, I feel that we still don't know enough about it; let's explore it just a bit more, yeah?

I was excited for Kenobi until they announced they're adding in Vader and having a duel. I guess continuity and canon be damned. Cassian is an excellent character. I'm looking forward to them delving into the events that made him who he was by the time of Rogue One. How can anyone not be excited for a show about Lando? Especially with Donald Glover reprising the role. I'm happy Acolyte is being set outside of the established saga timeline. That makes it a draw for me. I just hope they go back far enough that it isn't just a lead in to the saga.

 

Was that confirmed?

 

I know multiple sources have confirmed it, but nothing official from LucasFilm.

The first because it’s a fricking planet-hopping spy thriller in the GFFA, so duh.

The second because I want to hang out with Lando.

The third because I love the show and want to see more.

 

I think Bad Batch is gonna surprise us. It really looks like it could be one of the greatest animated fantasy shows of all time.

 

I know the real reason. Because if you move the R to the front of Andor, you'll have the shows, Rando, Lando, and Mando.

It's wild that a Boba show and a TCW sequel are in the works and they didn't make my top three. Crazy times.

A while ago, I placed these three shows at the top of my most anticipated list: 1) Mando 3 2) Kenobi. 3) Book of Boba
They are still my Top 3, but Ahsoka and Andor are now gaining my interest as well.

 

I think seeing so much of Tatooine in Mando lessens my anticipation for Obi-wan. Still can’t wait to see it, but it’s dropped down a peg over the years.

 

Acolyte - a new time period, and a cool director.
Andor - just love a bit more of Rogue One Star Wars, and Diego Luna
Kenobi - well, come on. Of course. And yeah, the trick is to NOT be Mandalorian but with a Jedi. Not to be merely Kenobi roaming the desert.

But I want to see all of them. They all have awesome potential in their ideas.
