How about true fans (OT purists) vs Napoleon Complex fans (PT lovers)? A fight the PT lovers have bitterly been trying to start for 15 years. There, I fixed it for you.

 

This is a great idea for a thread.

I really enjoy the close quarters action on the Tantive IV between the Rebels and Stormtroopers at the start of ANH.

Also Vader tearing apart the Rebels in Rogue One is neat, but I can't say I enjoy it as much as the shootout at the start of ANH.

Also I know there's plenty of great fights in TCW that are not Jedi vs Sith.
I enjoy the whole heist that Boba's group with Asajj, aka Krayts Claw, does on Quarzite in TCW. Some great action there.

The heist on Vandor in Solo A Star Wars Story is fun as heck as well. Fun to see Han and Chewie in their first job together. The action is awesome and the scenery is majestic.

One of the best fights is the Rebels vs Stormtroopers on the Tantive IV. They actually felt like a threat to our heroes, at least until plot armor took over. And I loved Han vs Chewie in Solo too. But the best is watching Chirrut fight the stormtroopers in Rogue One. And the whole ground battle between the rebels and stormtroopers on Scariff is awesome.

Luke vs Rancor was awesome back in 83. Parts of it have not aged well, but it's still one of the more unique battles in the movies.

 

When I think of fight I generally think of 1 on 1 duels...

Ahsoka vs Din (brief)
Luke vs Boba Fett (brief)
Mace vs Jango

 

Obi-Wan vs. Jango is still one of my favs. The hand-to-hand combat was a cool bonus.

Anakin and Obi-Wan vs. The MagnaGuards on the Invisible Hand is a short yet sweet moment too. The way Obi-Wan decapitates one of them is so smooth.

I really liked Dryden Vos vs. Han and Q'ira at the climax of Solo.

Enfys Nest vs. Beckett on Vandor was also dope.

 

We can't forget about the epic battle between the AT-ST leg, and the Ewoks with the vine.

 

It's not really a fight, but I always enjoy Vader disarming Han from the head of the table in TESB. Mando and IG teaming up was pretty impressive also.

Can't believe I forgot about the EPIC scuffle between Han and Lando in the cell on Bespin.

 

nah the scuffle between Chewie and solo in solo is better lol

R2 versus Yoda in TESB

 

It's such a well shot and edited scene. Lando looking at Han. Han turning. Vader appearing. Chewie growling. That classic Ford double take as his trusty blaster fails him.. Boba Fett appearing like a cowboy in a western. Han looking at his friend in shock.

Jango vs. Obi-Wan. A perfect, smash mouth, Indiana Jones type of fight. Loved it.

 

Speaking of that little kerfuffle, If Obi-Wan wins and takes Jango as prisoner, how does he get him back to Coruscant? Jango going to sit on Obi-Wan's lap in Obi-Wan's little starfighter?
