Interesting topic. I'd be interested in knowing people's top 10 scenes in the other trilogies as well-not to mention the whole saga. Here's my ST 10:

1. Rey speaking to the Jedi who came before
2. Kylo Ren vs. Rey lightsaber duel on DS II ruins, from Rey's entering the throne room ruins to the point Ben throws away his lightsaber
3. Rey training on Ajan Kloss with Leia
4. Kylo Ren's arrival on Exegol, thru the end of his conversation w/Palpatine
5. Force ghost Yoda
6. Force ghost Luke, especially the flashback to young Luke training young Leia
7. Rey and Finn escaping TIEs in the Falcon off Jakku in TFA
8. Holdo Maneuver
9. Han's introduction/freighter sequence in TFA
10. Luke's force-projected standoff with Kylo Ren on crait

Maybe not the best scene but one that has stuck with me since.

Luke lighting up at seeing his old friend R2 in the corner of the Falcon and R2's "cheap move." Tasteful use of nostalgia that's in service of the story and characters.

 

You reminded me, I have to add one more.

There are some really cool moments in the ST, wish it was more universally loved. Its not perfect but nor is OT or ST. Star flaws.... I love it just like the b movies it was inspired by

 

Best shot was the last scene of TRoS, because I knew we were finally done with the ST.

Actually a great shot I liked was the TFA finale on space Ireland. Great music/scenery and our introduction to Luke. Quite sad that TLJ opening out a damper on that ending scene.

Prob a subject for the saga category but i wonder what the least favourite saga scene is.. Luke throwing his sabre away? Something to do with ewoks? Jar jar or sand.. For me it's Anakin riding those beasts in the waterfall field in clones

10 - Leia joins the Force
She decides to reach her son and make him turn, which cost her her life. It's a nice way to send her away.

9 - Kylo's arrival on Exegol
He managed to find Palpatine, who reveals his fleet and offers some explanation about Rey. It was a nice way to start a movie. Just not the last movie.

8 - Finn and Han
Did you just called me Solo and Women always figure out the truth.

7 - The chase on Jakku
Rey and Finn in Falcon trying to escape the FO on Jakku. So much fun. Although thinking how Rey can fly a ship may ruin it.

6 - Rey vs. Kylo on DS II remains
While I strongly dislike the idea of revisiting DS II remains, it was interesting to see a fight in water environment.

5 - Rey (onboard Kylo's ship) vs. Kylo (on Kijimi)
That whole part of their dyad was very unexplored, but I like her in his chambers and him on Kijimi. Very nice contrast.

4 - Han's death
We all knew what's gonna happen and it was done really nice. Starkiller drained the star, it was all dark and father confronted his son.

3 - Crait battle scenes
Possibly the most beautiful scenes in the trilogy. Light crafts and aerial skirmishes with the Crait interior, so much fun.

2 - Kylo kills Snoke
Now, this is a great scene because of the previous one where Snoke expressed his disappointment of Kylo. Both of them had great dialogue and the death itself is a sparkle of brilliance in TLJ.

1 - Luke confronts Kylo
Imagine this scene wrapped in an amazing ST. Luke comes out of the base, all the FO power tries to kill him and he just brushes his shoulder. Not just that, but the verbal exchange between him and Kylo is great. Kylo is, again, very naive villain that gets fooled once again, and that's the only thing that I don't like here.

 

This thread has only served to remind me of the great scenes I didn't originally put im my list like r2 trying to guilt trip Luke

 

That was great because Mark has such a great chemistry with him. Even if ST was one's first SW trilogy, one could feel "old friends" from that exchange.

Kylo's field trip to Exegol (after the Mustafar sequence, which I disliked)

Emperor/Rey/Kylo sequence
