Topic Posting Problem

I was just trying to Post a Topic of GREAT Length and it came up blank. If a Topic is too big will it come up blank?

Is there any way to stop this?

 

How much of it was your own writing and how much of it was copy/paste?

 

A TON of it was Copy and Paste.

I'd say 95% Of It was.

 

Well, if it was in the Senate, I would have asked you to just link to what you were copy and pasting from. Very large posts (usually resulting from a lot of copy/paste work) slow down threads and clutter things up.

 

I basically just copied down the Databank from the OS. I copy and pasted the Images,Links,and Bios. It was just the Characters Part though.

Would cutting it up into different posts help?

 

Oh, probably, but why not just post links as needed for various characters? Are you compiling all the data for a thread?

 

I was trying to Make somewhat of a Reference Guide for the SW Community Forum and/or the Saga Forum.

I just took all of the Characters, got the Image URLs,Link URLs, and COpy and Pasted both the Movie Based Bio and EU Based Bio.

 

Oh, I hate when that happens. It appears very often on other boards acrossed the vast horizen called the Internet.

However, I personally have never had that happen here. Is it a new error? Or has this been occuring often?

uh, what exactly is the point of copying and pasting the databank? why do you think it's there?

 

Yeah, plus it'll be hell on a dial up modem.

 

This happened to me when I tried to post pi to a few million digits.


I think I got banned for that.

 

Well, it does appear as a hackers code am I right?

I for one never thought those type of errors hit the JC. I guess times are changing. Perhaps its a new error brought by our new Security Administrator .
