Bah. Casablanca is better. I bet most of the voters had not even seen that.

 

Casablanca is far better.........and your right.......many of the people that voted prolly haven't seen it. Godfather is still a great movie........

 

A tiny handful of movies could possibly equal The Godfather, but nothing could surpass it. It's not possible to exceed perfection.

 

I think there are better films than the Godfather , but it is a very very good movie with very good performances.

 

I've seen both Casablanca and The Godfather multiple times. Both are five-star, top-ten-of all-time films. I just rank The Godfather slightly higher.

 

If indeed one can rank films like these two at all.
