Tournament: Greatest movies of the Sci-Fi / Fantasy Genre (WINNER ANNOUNCED!)

The voting is not as close as I expected. Not close at all.

 

Those were all pretty well no brainers. Often both movies were very good, but one just sort of naturally stood out to me on each pick.

 

I'm not going to list the eliminated anymore since there's too many now. Instead, I'll just show who is left in each bracket. This is who remains standing:

There was only one there I didn't have to really think about, and that was one where I'm not a big fan of either.

Ok, I KNOW people didn't just vote for Robocop over Abyss: SE- I would ahve thought that was the easiest choice of that round!

 

I nominated Robocop - but I still voted for Abyss

 

Abyss: SE Gone? That was the only one for which I didn't have to resort to a coin flip for a decision.
Blade Runner was my Number 1, but if it had to go out at least it went down against another Ridley.
This next batch isn't as as difficult

Whoops. Yes. I forgot that I set up a round yesterday morning. Not thinking, I started the next one. I think I still received everyone's vote though since it's usually the same people each time. If someone missed out on the last round, PM me your vote. If anything changes, I'll update the changes and let you guys know.

 

Wow . . . every decision last round went the opposite of my vote. That's a record or something.

I had a few people vote for this round and the last round (the one that only went 12 hours). Those votes were included in the final total however they did not change any outcomes. Everything remains the same after it's all said and done.

It's officially illegal to pit two of the three best Cameron films against one another.

 

We all got our problems.

 

I agree. Isn't there something in the TOS about cruel and unusual punishment?

 

I want the names and IP addys of all of those who didn't vote for TF:TM.

 

I'm getting myself all confused over what I voted for and when. It's all mixing together. Also doing three brackets isn't helping me keep track.


Anyways, I think Terminator 2: Judgement Day vs Aliens was the hardest decision I've had to make in this tournament.

T2 told me "I'll be back" and Aliens told me "game over." But that's not what my heart told me...
