Those were all pretty well no brainers. Often both movies were very good, but one just sort of naturally stood out to me on each pick.

How about you just beat us about the face and head with a large stick. It would be alot less painful.

There was only one there I didn't have to really think about, and that was one where I'm not a big fan of either.

Oh, why don't you just shoot me in the head? It would be a lot less painful than to have to choose here!

Abyss: SE Gone? That was the only one for which I didn't have to resort to a coin flip for a decision.
Blade Runner was my Number 1, but if it had to go out at least it went down against another Ridley.
This next batch isn't as as difficult

It's early and I'm tired, but did that one voting round go over only 12 hours? I just sent in Bractek 2,3 &4 and scroll down to find the next set less then 24 hours?

Did I miss a round again?

Whoops. Yes. I forgot that I set up a round yesterday morning. Not thinking, I started the next one. I think I still received everyone's vote though since it's usually the same people each time. If someone missed out on the last round, PM me your vote. If anything changes, I'll update the changes and let you guys know.

I had a few people vote for this round and the last round (the one that only went 12 hours). Those votes were included in the final total however they did not change any outcomes. Everything remains the same after it's all said and done.

These are the movies remaining in this tournament. They are listed by bracket. If you don't see a movie, then it didn't make it.

Bracket #5 ? (Fantasy) (The Fountain of Youth Bracket)

LotR: The Two Towers
Army of Darkness

Bracket #6 ? (Science Fiction) (The Bracket from the Future Bracket)

Close Encounters of the Third Kind
The Terminator

Bracket #7 ? (Fantasy) (The Mythical Bracket)

Clash of the Titans
E.T.

And moving right along. Here are the next three brackets up for voting:

Bracket #8 ? (Science Fiction) (The Holographic Bracket)

[ol][li]Aliens
vs.
Terminator 2: Judgement Day[/li]

[li]John Carpenter's The Thing
vs.
Planet of the Apes (1968)[/li][/ol]

Bracket #1 ? (Fantasy) (The Atlantis Bracket)

[ol][li]LotR: Fellowship of the Ring
vs.
Batman Begins[/li][/ol]

Bracket #2 ? (Science Fiction) (The Deus ex machina Bracket)

[ol][li]Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
vs.
Alien[/li][/ol]

It's officially illegal to pit two of the three best Cameron films against one another. [face_not_talking]

I'm getting myself all confused over what I voted for and when. It's all mixing together. Also doing three brackets isn't helping me keep track. :p

Anyways, I think Terminator 2: Judgement Day vs Aliens was the hardest decision I've had to make in this tournament.

T2 told me "I'll be back" and Aliens told me "game over." But that's not what my heart told me...
